Slonedeb. I was able to make it home safe and sound thru the crazy wild, snowy roads. So many cars off the road on the way...... but I made it!
I know you've always kept me in your prayers, for my travels, and that has helped me relax in the midst of the crazy conditions that I encounter. We all hold each other up -- around here.
Riding out this current storm of weather.

Dear Deb:
If it were a teensy bit warmer I would be hitching up my virtual carriage and team of horses, and be coming over the river and through the woods!!! In the meantime, dear lady, rest easy.
Blessings~~~
-
Slonedeb. Starting off the day wishing you strength and courage.
Know that we are all gathered here, thinking of you. Sending you encouragement and hope.
Wrap yourself in these blessings that others are sending to you.
Our snow is gorgous, from the perspective of my bathrobe, on my couch. LOL
Today's a day just to curl up and relax.

Deb we are missing you here and getting a lil concerned. All is well I pray . Maybe you are just resting and healing. Chilly here. Brrrrr I am sure you are probably cold and snowy there. Which at holiday time nice to be chilly then we like it to warm up.
A carriage ride now that does sound nice. Never been on one. We could all go and have a ball. Then back by a fire with hot choc. and marshmellows.
God bless Deb and hugsssssssss

Kbug, your description of the sleigh ride reminds me of my morning yesterday.
I arrived at the little town who had scheduled me to perform in the afternoon of their holiday festivities. Slonedeb, I arrived in their little town, just as the Christmas parade was turning the corner. I got to see the marching band -- marching ever so carefully, because of the falling snow.
Then came Mr. & Mrs. Clause in their horse drawn sleigh. I don't know much about horses, but they were HUGE!! and all decked out for the big day. Then came the finale with all of the firetrucks, ambulences and then the police car......
The funniest thing: I followed the last police car..... as the exclamation mark at the end of the book. I waved to all those folding up their chairs and blankets and getting organized to head to warmer spots.
I know. I'm easily entertained. It was so much fun. I wish I'd had a bag of candy to throw to the remaining children. That would have been fun.
love to you tonight.

Dear Deb,
I'm sorry you're kept from posting: I pray that you'll post again, and that in the meantime your free from significant pain and physical, emotional discomfort. I hope you're breathing is unlabored. I hope your family is spending extra time with you, as holidays are Holy Days, and prayers are needed by one and all for the comfort of others.
While carrying on with holiday rituals, I can't but help but think of you too. So here's a handful of blue pine from my tree, particularly pleasant in smell this year. And here is a red ribbon for your bed frame or a picture frame in your room, as red brings such cheer this time of year. And here is your local radio station playing Christmas songs and Hymns, and if we're both lucky, perhaps we can tune in together and listen to The Hallelujah Chorus together. So we're not so far away from each other, Deb. As really, I have you right up front in my mind. I think I saw a smile from you, and it warmed my heart so, allowing me to give one back with a nod, and a hug.
Holiday prayers and best wishes for you and your family, Deb, as well as for all,
Tender

Dearest SloneDeb~~~and all the Slone Rangers:
A thought for this time of year, from one of my meditation cards...........
The Doves of Peace
The pressures of modern life often create tension in our daily interactions with others. To rid yourself of negative feelings toward other people, you need to accept and even embrace personal differences. Close your eyes and visualize the doves of peace floating gently across the skies on the warm trade winds. Their serenity stills your protesting thoughts, bringing tranquility back into your life.
Blessings~~~~~~~~~

Slonedeb. Up early today to get many things attended to. I leave tomorrow for a quick hop to VA. This is my last big trip of the year, just down and straight back..... will then be able to settle in and think warm holiday thoughts. So today will start with prayers for you and I will add additional ones as I'm packing and getting organized.
I wonder how you're doing lately? It's been quite a while since you've checked in......
Come back to us when you areable. Feel free to whine, cry, shreik, laugh, or have a pity party with us..... whatever emotion you need to share, we're here to support you in any way that we are able.

Heading to the airport this morning. Always have my fingers crossed for travel mercies, especially in winter. Air travel always seems a bit more unpredictable in the snows.......
Slonedeb, I will be saying my prayers for you as I travel..... in my heart.
wondering, wondering, wondering how you're doing lately.
my hope is that you are able to be pain free and have some quality interactions with your loved ones.

Dear Lord,
You know our friend Deb so much better than we do. You know her sickness and the burden she carries. You also know her heart. Lord, we ask you to be with our friend now, working in her life. Let your will be done in Deb's life. Lord, we pray Deb because your Word says we should pray for her healing. We believe you hear this earnest prayer from our hearts and that it is powerful because of your promise. We have faith in you to heal our Deb, but we also trust in the plan you have for her life. Lord, we don't always understand your ways, and why our friend has to suffer, but we trust you. We ask that you look with mercy and grace toward our friend Deb. Nourish her spirit and soul in this time of suffering and comfort her with your presence. Let our friend Deb know you are there with her through this difficulty. And may you be glorified in her life and also in ours.
Amen{{{for Deb and all her Slone Rangers}}}

Dear Deb,Trust in the Lord with all your heart... I hope these are words you might repeat to yourself as you continue on this journey. It's Faith that allowed you to live, to marry and have children, and to see your way along the breast cancer road. Faith will not let you down, to the contrary it boosts one up.I believe we will hear when the time is right from you or your daughter. Keep the Faith Deb, all the time knowing that your Slonerangers are saying multiple prayers of support for you. May your time be peaceful, your pain eased, your breathing untroubled and your mind free of fear or remorse. Grab the moment, see the light, hear our wishes of support and be free in Faith. With love at this Holy Day Season, from all your sisters.Tender

Slonedeb. I'm safely in VA. Uneventful airports today -- just the way I like it.
Know that as I wind down for the day, I have you in my heart.
I've read and reread Tender's significant words above..... may we all allow our minds to be free of fear and remorse. What wise words, from an insightful sister.
Much love for this phase of your story.

And I remember that you had some very encouraging posts when I found out I had cancer and you were so helpful. I just wanted you to know that I haven't forgotten how wonderful you were, and I've been saying prayers for you as you go on this journey. I will continue to keep you in my prayers. Am asking for miracles in your case, am waiting for the day when you come back to us and tell us that you are so much better.

Deb of Kentucky, I hope you read this and smile today~~~~we love you!
A Christmas Story for people having a bad day:
When four of Santa's elves got sick, the trainee elves did not produce toys as fast as the regular ones, and Santa began to feel the Pre-Christmas pressure.
Then Mrs Claus told Santa her Mother was coming to visit, which stressed Santa even more.
When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and two others had jumped the fence and were out, Heaven knows where. Then when he began to load the sleigh, one of the floorboards cracked, the toy bag fell to the ground and all the toys were scattered. Frustrated, Santa went in the house for a cup of apple cider and a shot of rum. When he went to the cupboard, he discovered the elves had drunk all the cider and hidden the rum.
In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the cider jug, and it broke into hundreds of little glass pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to get the broom and found the mice had eaten all the straw off the end of the broom.
Just then the doorbell rang, and irritated Santa marched to the door, yanked it open, and there stood a little angel with a great big Christmas tree. The angel said very cheerfully, 'Merry Christmas, Santa. Isn't this a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Where would you like me to stick it?'
And so began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree.

Deb please come back to us. We miss you. I need your help . Got the call now in my bones. I am trying to focus and ride on in the storm . Just another hit for me. God is able I know . As it says in the bible in all thingss give thanks for this is the will of the Lord. Deb I pray for you and all of us and will not stop praying. I am worried about you . God bless and hugs....
-
Slonedeb. How we miss your posts. How we miss knowing what's happening. How we wonder and hope at the same time, all jumbled together in a blanket of unanswered unknowns.
Know that the prayers continue, no matter the length of the silence, no matter the distance, no matter the developments.
We are here. Arm-in-arm. Keeping watch over you with prayers of support and encouragement.
We are linked to each other here, thru you, Slonedeb.
So now we will add yet more prayers to our dear friend Kbug as she must contend with progression in the midst of this season of joy. We are woven together here. One-to-another. May we continue to lift one another up, in the midst of things we don't understand.
May we offer each other the strength and courage that comes from shared fellowship together.
May we hold one another in mercy and compassion and encouragement.
May we remind one another of the grace that surrounds us, even in the midst of the suffering.
