-
Norm. Sending you encouragement, as night is now upon us, coming soon to you, too.
There are so many here who are standing guard at the prayer circle.
One more day. And then another.
(((((((((((((((((((((Norm))))))))))))))))))))
Remember my long-ago 'advice' from the book I'd read:
"Other people feel this."Others also know pain and isolation, anger and dispair.
That thought gave me such encouragement thru my journey.
Please do your best for yourself -- as so many care about how you are doing.
-
Dear Norm, Please know that alot of people love you and are praying for you. May the Lord comfort you threw your sorrow and help you to find peace. Hugs, Debbie

Thank You everyone, your prayer's and thoughts lifted me up when I was stumbling.I was dreading Dec.03,it is hard but you people gave me strength when I most needed it yesterday.I read this thread and went to the accident scene with five roses and said a few prayer's.I came home, read this thread and went to the grave with more flower's and talked to Brenda and the children,I told them how very much I MISS and LOVE THEM......I then came home again, read this thread and played all our home video's and went through our pictures......
All of your kind thought's and prayer's helped to get me through this emotional day, which I am so THANKFUL TO EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Norm,
What a beautiful tribute you gave to your lovely angels on December 3. I am so glad that you felt all of our presence with you during the day at the accident scene and the gravesite. I bet Brenda was very proud of you for your courage. I know that I am very proud of you for showing such strength and getting through this very difficult painful time. Remember that you are not alone in this---you have many cyber friends who hold you in our hearts and lift you up in prayers.
hugs, celia

I am so glad to see your post Norm. You are made of strong stuff for sure.
-
ohhhhhhhh Norm. what a wonderful way to give tribute to the life and love that you shared with Brenda. I'm so grateful that you were willing to share here, how you chose to spend the day. There are many others who read here and yet can't find the words to express their encouragement, but know they are praying on your behalf.
I'm always grateful that you and Brenda had just exchanged "I Love You's" before she was taken away. What a treasure that your last words were reflective of your entire relationship. Hold onto that thought.
-
Norm: Thanks for keeping in touch with us and letting us know how you are doing. Today is a new day in which you have a lot more friends and prayer support than ever before, and it will keep growing. Only you can fully understand how deep the grief goes and only you can work through it, but the more support you have, the more strength and wisdom you gain to handle it. Still praying, Love, Granny.
-
Norm, glad you made it thru ok........Congrats on making it thru the first yr.........God still has a plan for you and you will find happiness again......HUgs...Lucy
-
Norm. I'm safely to my next destination, with enough time to put my feet up and unwind....

so glad that you've had so much support this week..... there's no one more deserving of kindness.
hope that you have something to look forward to this weekend. our neighborhood is having a lovely party tomorrow night, so i'm looking forward to getting caught up with friends & neighbors.
take good care of yourself.

Dear Norm:
The enormity of your loss is heart-rending, and your bravery is inspiring.
I truly believe that your angels will be there~~~just as you remember and treasure them~~~when it is your time to go home. I also believe they want you to live your life as fully as you can, one day at a time.
Blessings~~~~

Hi Norm, thinking about you today.
Sorry Norm, forgot the hug. (((((Norm)))))
-
Norm. It warms my heart to see the encouragement that continues on your behalf. We are a wonderful group of folks, brought together by the most unimaginable of circumstances.
Just wanting you to know that I'm starting my day with thoughts of strength on your behalf.
How do you manage the long winters? Three days in northern MI and I'm ready to go to a beach somewhere. Goodness sakes I'm turning into a snow-bird for sure!
Have you ever gone ice fishing? We saw a funny musical about two guys and their ice fishing shanty. Pretty original show.
-

Norm. I managed to get safely back home yesterday. It's amazing that OH goes absolutely loopie with just a couple of inches of snow. People were spun-out all over the roads. The inter-state was completely stopped...... it was an adventure.
You know one of our dear sisters here reminds us often: "Ride out your storms." She goes by the name 'Slonedeb' and believe me, she's had more than her fair share of storms. So when words of wisdom come from a person who's been pressed to the wall, I listen.
Thinking of you. Sending you encouragement for the day at hand.
