Did anyone catch the season finale?

I don't want to comment on it too much, in case someone recorded to watch later and hasn't seen it yet, but it was so good! I am going to be so disapointed if they don't bring it back next year!

I missed the first 20 minutes of it though; I had to work til 10pm that night, and taped it, but I didn't realize til I got home and noticed the vcr wasn't recording that I had the wrong date set! But I watched the rest of it.

That was the season finale??? They sure as hell better bring that show back! I've commented twice now on cbs.com about how much I like that show - perhaps everyone else should, too?

"Swingtown" finds cable home on Bravo

By Kimberly Nordyke Mon Sep 29, 1:36 AM ET

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - "Swingtown," the CBS drama about partner-swapping couples in 1970s suburbia, is swinging to Bravo, which has acquired exclusive cable rerun rights to the show from CBS Television Distribution.

Bravo has picked up all 13 produced episodes, which aired over the summer to modest ratings. CBS has not made a final decision about the future of "Swingtown," but a second-season pickup is considered a very long shot.

A Bravo source said the deal is a straight acquisition and that the cable network has no plans to produce new episodes. The off-network sale essentially closes the door on the possibility of the show continuing with new episodes on CBS or another network.

Bravo is scheduled to premiere "Swingtown" in the fall. The show joins an off-network lineup that includes "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and "The West Wing."

"Swingtown" stars Jack Davenport, Grant Show, Josh Hopkins, Molly Parker, Lana Parrilla, Miriam Shor, Shanna Collins, Aaron Howles and Britt Robertson.

I saw Grant Show on this past week's episode of Private Practice and I have to say he's much better looking with the dirty blonde shaggy 70's hair and moustache than 2008's short and dark hair!

Swingtown made me so nostalgic for my highschool years! I used to really like moustaches. Still do, but prefer goatees now. I can't believe all the 'adult themed' shows that get cxld. WTF? There seems to be little choice between stupid crap an stupid crap! Yell

Also, while it's no Swingtown, I do watch Private Practice (ABC, Wednesday) and it has 'adult themed' stroy lines, and sex, so that is my current show of choice since Swingtown isn't swinging anymore!

I like PP too, Jaybird and, like you, enjoy all of the screwing around going on. I especially like the hot factor between Cooper and Charlotte. Poor Violet...she seems like such a sad sack and I keep wanting to take her out shopping for some lingerie and stilettos Tongue out!

As far as violet goes, she's gonna get it on with the other shrink so don't worry about her!

I'm still currently getting my 'hot sex fix' from the Internet.....  Innocent
