    Norm,

    I posted a few times to you last year, when I read your post.  It's hard to believe one year has passed, but I am sure for you...it seems longer. You have been through allot..and I am amazed at what a strong individual you are. My prayers are with you today, and I pray that Jesus puts his loving arms around you and holds you close. I know those 5 angels of yours have been with you everyday and today...may they give you the same loving hug that our Lord gives you.

    You are a source of strength to all of us. Thinking and praying for you.

     Dear Lord, Please bless my friend Norm help he to know that you are there. Please help him to have faith and courage to this time to get threw his storm and see Your light. Lord I know you never leave us, But when we are walking threw darkens we feel alone. Please help Norm to know you will get him threw this storm. In Your Name AMEN

    On this most devastating anniversary of the death or your beautiful family, please know that prayers are going out all over the country.  I know your heart is heavy with grief but it's also light with the love and spirit of your dear ones......God bless and keep you until you are all together once again.  Trina

    I am 31 years old and I'm in British Coloumbia as well ( Fraser Valley ). I remember the story on the news last year. My heart goes out to you and you are in my prayers.

    Norm,  I lost my son 2 1/2 years ago and can only imagine the devastation and heartache.  The year marker is a big one.  Just want you to know you are in my prayers and will remain there.  I offer up a prayer on your behalf.

    Our gracious Father, We come to you know, grieving with our friend Norm, lifting him up to you in compassion and caring, asking that you wrap your loving arms around him and grant him peace.  It is so hard to face each day, Lord.  Let him know that you are with him.  Let not his heart be troubled or afraid.  Thank you that you have prepared places for us and love us.  Father, please be with Norm especially today.  Grant him courage and strength, but most of all peace and the easing of pain in his broken heart.  It is in the name of your precious Son Jesus I pray.  Amen

    Norm......... I'm safely in a warm spot in the middle of MI. There's a web connection at their local laundromat!! Came to find you...... snowing outside as I type. Family speaking a language from India, I presume. Quite the world traveler, aren't I?

    I know that you are greatly encouraged by the expressions of support from our friends from all across the boards. We are so much more capable as a unit working together. I too take much encouragement from the sentiments shared here.

    Norm, Thank you so much for putting up posts today, in the midst of all you are doing to keep moving forward.

    Just wanted to post here on the anniversary of your loss and wonder if you know how many times people come here and read about your wife and children and how many prayers have been lifted up on your behalf.  You had the harder road being left here alone and I hope you have had many friends and family lighten your path along the way this year.  Please know many thoughts and prayers surround you today. mom2two

    May the memories of your loved ones carry you through the holidays. They watch over you , they carry you through the sad days,  they protect you..I hope you see the twinkle of one of your children in the eyes of a stranger during this time..Remember an act of kindness, a touch of the hand or a hug in church may just be one of your children or your wife reaching out to you..Keep your heart open, and just feel the love around you..May God bless you and help you through these difficult times..It's very obvious how many ladies here care about you..Hoping you find peace here..Thinking of you..Hugs Klynn

    Norm. Off to my "fun" for the day........ more snow over night, you're probably used to this stuff, I'm more of a chicken, but the roads are fairly clear.

    I know you will be reading and re-reading the demonstrations of caring above.

    Last night as I was falling asleep, I realized that your post earlier said they had given you strength and hope...... HOPE. That's the first I remember you're recognizing such an important possibility.

    Norm........ I guess I'm a pirate of sorts. Mysteriously have the web in my room this afternoon.

    What a lovely surprise. For some reason it won't send emails, but having this connection is nice.

    Resting up between my 3 schools today and my concert tonight. Hopefully the weather will remain modest and everyone is safe in their coming into town.

    Thanks again for posting yesterday.

    Now we start the countdown to the holidays.
