Hi vivre. I was just wondering where you found the iron information.  The most scientifically accurate information normally occurs in peer reviewed professional journals.

I did a Pubmed search, and while iron may help regulate lactoferrin during lactation, that is hardly a link to bc. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15905437

In this study of rats, some iron salts were associated with a decreased colon tumor incidence.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8297110  I couldn't find much else, but maybe you have other sources.

awb----I didn't know about the wey containing soy I specifically asked for something without soy. I though it was it's own entity. I'll have to look into it.

vivre----thanks for the encouragement! The transition hasn't been as hard as I thought. Holidays are tough. I miss eating some stuff. Switching to organic hasn't been as bad as I thought. Everything taste the same. Unfortunately, I'm really stressed... And when I'm stressed I eat.My life could use more exercising and enjoyment. LOL

I've tried increasing veggies and cut out the whey since I wasn't sure about the soy. My new thing is small amount of fresh dill and hand full of spinach with a cup of orange juice (blended). The OJ kills the taste of the other stuff. Soy is in everything!!!! This sucks! I just want cookies and don't know what to get without feeling guilty.
