Just Want It To Stop

Options

I know I just got started on this crazy cancer train, but I already want it to stop. I just want to tell everyone to leave me alone and stop poking things into me already! LOL

Tomorrow I have to get a port installed UGH. Then I have a whole week off (next chemo on the 5th) from poking and prodding and pain. YAY!

Hi carpediemocc----I understand how you feel. While I was going through treatment, I just got tired of sitting in doctor's waiting rooms, having tests run, blood work, etc. etc. etc. I finished chemo in March, but still do Herceptin until January. At least I only go every 3 weeks now. Just a word of encouragement.....it does get better. I had a calendar, and remember marking off each day with a big old "X" while counting down to last chemo day!!! You can do it!!!!! Good luck to you and Happy Thanksgiving! Hang in there :)

    Hi carpediemocc,

Hang in there.  It'll be over before you know it.  I finished chemo in May and radiation in August.  It was a tough year.  It will be behind you soon and better days will be ahead.  Enjoy every minute of every day and know that there are people out here for you.  Keep posting!!  I'm wishing you a great holiday.

Hi carpediemocc! Oh, what a long road it is! Everytime I am in the office or waiting to see someone for another procedure, I think about what an unpatient person I am!  I never thought I was that bad until the last 7 months. What frustrates me is that none of the appointments are ones that I want to go to!!! Anyway I know that it is tough - know that there are people to support you here.  Good luck!

The poking is quite annoying.  I think the paperwork that had to be filled out, all so repetitive was driving me crazy.

Now that everything is underway at least that slowed down.

We DO understand how you feel! I went through 4 months of chemo first, then right mod rad mastectomy then 33 radiation treatments (I know others here have gone through more). About midway through radiation I just couldn't stand taking my shirt off for everyone! It really started to bother me. Of course I had to keep going, but I wanted to scream a few times. I grew really tired of the interest in my chest! Yell

Hang in there. You CAN get through it!
