Dancing with the Stars

Ladies, I have missed chatting with you this season. I watched the whole thing. This year is more fun since my 7 year old gets the phones out and we have each voted 5 times!! We don't always vote the same. It's just too fun to watch with my girlie girl!
We voted last night, we both cast 5 votes for Lan-cey!
I think Brooke will win ... Like Hough said, her scores have been the highest and its a dance competion, she should win
-
-
ODY~ Have you seen Julianne Hough in her video. I listen to country all the time. This is what she will be up to next year and not doing DWTS.....
She is pretty good.
-
A big hole in our Monday and Tuesday nights!
Perhaps Brooke can find time now to get married!!!
It was really fun to see the previous contestants.
-
Well Brooke won. I figured she would and she certainly deserved it. For some reason I couldn't warm up to her. I too was disappointed with Lance's hip hop; I think Lacey dropped the ball with that routine. Warren was tops in entertainment value in my opinion so I'm glad he came in second.
-
I am glad that Brooke won, but as much as I love Warren, I don't think it was right that he came in second, as a dancer, Lance was so much better than him. Regardless, we do now have a hole in Monday and Tuesday nights. We'll have to figure out some way to fill the time. It's been fun chatting with you all about DWTS - see you next season!!!!
-
Floor tickets are $225!! But how much fun!
-
I agree, Brooke really deserved to win. But, Lance did not deserve to be eliminated. He was also good. Did anyone notice the chemistry between her and her partner? I thought she was already married?
-
I didn't realize that they said that Lance was eliminated!???? I saw the last episode, I must have missed where they said that. I only saw all 3 on the stage and they said who the winner was.
Lacey should have had them do some really cool lifts and dance number. The hip hop thing was good but not as good as they could have done.
I also didn't realize that Lance was gay. Coulda fooled me!
-
In 2001, Burke married Dr. Garth Fisher, a plastic surgeon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. They have two daughters together: Neriah (named after Playmate Neriah Davis) and Sierra Sky. In 2005, Fisher and Burke filed for divorce, and their divorce was finalized in 2006.
On August 21, 2006, she announced that she was engaged to actor/singer David Charvet. They have two children together: a daughter named Heaven Rain and a son named Shaya Braven.
Dr. Fisher is said to be responsible for her lovely DD's, and I don't mean Neriah and Sierra!!!
Lance was rumored to be gay and finally "came out" in July 2006, in a cover story for People magazine. He says he is "straight-acting" and loves beer and football. This program and his progress in dancing wil be a big plus for him; he's on the tour.
-
Daffodil - Thanks for all the info. Wow, $225 for floor tickets...in this economy? I just can't see justifying that kind of expense. But, it sure sounds like fun.
Mary Lou - Julianne has such a beautiful voice. I had no idea she could sing. She is so talented.
DH went shopping on Black Friday and came home with a 42" HD TV during. I know next season will be a lot of fun to watch.
-
ODY !!!! A 42" Yes! You will love it....
Julianne was on the other day talking to someone and said she may have spoken to soon about leaving the show. So maybe she will be on after all. I sure hope so, she is so good. I love her and Stacy.
-
Oh, I hope Julianne comes back! I love her. She has so much energy.
-
Calling all DWTS fans. It's that time again. The new cast will be revealed this Sunday, Feb 8th. Come join us for some fun as we compare notes again this season.
-
Tomorrow is the night the new cast is revealed. I am ready to see some hunky, hot buds...what about you guys?
-
ODY, I hope you have that wide screen ready to go!!!!!
-
MaryLou - LOL...TV ready and I'm ready!
Who else is ready for next season?
-
I just saw on Foxnews.com that Holly Madison (formerly with Hefner) may be taking Jewel's place on DWTS. It was reported that Jewel has tendenitis in her knee which may prevent her from competing. I guess we will find out next week if these rumors are true.

Sheila - I just saw your post. It seems they have had two injuries already.
Did anyone else watch the show this week? What did you think?
-
I watched most of it between washing the dishes (tv in living room). I thought it was pretty good. Haven't picked my favorite yet.
Sheila
-
I was glad to watch again....Even my husband watched !
He is a Melissa fan. I think she was wonderful for what time she had to prepare. And I'm glad things are working out for her.
Michael also loves Julianne . So I think he is hooked....
ODY, glad you have that big TV
It's like watching it at the movies.
-
Where is everyone?
-
I'm here just not much time to post.
Sheila
-
I'm here just not too impressed with this season.
-
Why is Steve from Apple still there? Do they have some sort of program for voting or something? Okay, Denise wasn't great, but gee whiz.......................shades of Masta P!!!!!!
-
I heard that there is a group trying to keep Steve W in as long as possible to show that computer geeks can dance, but that being said, to watch him dance hurts my eyes. Did you notice on Monday night's show the near wardrobe malfunction of Lil Kim, it appeared to me that she had an areola cover on her boob and it was showing after her dance. If she didn't have that cover on, she would have been showing it all.
Sheila
-
I guess Derrick became aware of it and put his arms around her to cover it - it was a real wadrobe malfunction - they said her pasty popped up. I didn't notice it, but I did think it was odd the way Derrick was holding her - now I know.
-
My son (23 yr old) happened to be in the living room and watched the last 3 dancers with me and when I said something about it, he agreed that it was showing. It was several minutes before Derrick put his arms around her to cover her, it was during the last comment by the judges. I was expecting Holly's boob to come bouncing out of her top while she was dancing also.
I was busy last night and didn't see the results show and since I was taping NCIS for my hubby, couldn't tape DWTS. I didn't know if they mentioned the malfunction last night.
-
I saw an interview with Derrick & Lil Kim, I think it was on Entertainment Tonight. He was being applauded for being a gentleman and coming to her rescue - honestly, I didn't see it at all.
-
I saw it and said something about it to my husband. He said maybe her tape came loose.
