Dancing with the Stars

I loved the brother/ sister routines - they were the best!! OMG, can you imagine dancing like that after surgery???? Or in your life time?
I was a dance mom and always thought my daughter would be up there. However, she's got a great hubby and beautiful son instead.
Who would you like to see win?
Susan

I totally believe that Brooke deserves it unless she really fouls up over the next three weeks.
-
I'm thinking it's going to be a battle of the Hough's and their stars for the finals ... or Warren and Kym against Brooke and Derrick ... depending on who has most fans ...
I'm not sure which showdown would be more interesting ...
I loved the brother/sister dances last night - they were both incredible performances!!
Next week will be interesting ...
-
ADK and Doreen - I would really love to see Brooke get it. However, no one with four babies should ever look good and dance that well!!
Susan
-
Agreed - I hate her
, but she so deserves to win.
-
I really think Brooke will win. Yes, I hate her too.
LOL
-
Who will win? This is tough. They are all so good. I'm still thinking about Julianne's dance routine so soon after surgery. Did I hear she had endometriosis? Not sure, cause it was her appendix they removed. Huh...just a little confused this morning. Either case, it's abdominal surgery that usually takes about six weeks to really heal. She is one tough cookie. Cody is sooooo young and cute. If he doesn't win, I'm afraid he will stump his feet and start crying. LOL
Brooke is awesome! I think she will probably win. My goodness, four kids and looking like that. She makes us all look bad. There is a lot of chemistry between her and her partner. I sure hope there is nothing else going on behind the scenes...hehehe
I do like Warren. He has such charisma. He always lights up the floor with his smile. He is so light on his feet. Have y'all noticed how well the football players usually do on the dance floor?
-
I can't get over how big Warren's feet are....
-
Warren is one big guy period!! And I can't believe how well he moves! Must be all of those ballet classes that football players take!

Oh, I just love the salsa dancing tonight. Salsa is by far my favority dance.
BTW - Was that blood on Cody's mouth?
-
I didn't notice the blood - did he get hit during the dance? I think it will be Cody that goes home tonight. Brooke kinda fouled up a little bit last night and now it seems to me that the judges are trying to make up to Lance for giving him such a hard time all along. Don't get me wrong, I think Lance's dances last night were the best of the night, but a few weeks ago, he never would have come in first. I think the final 3 will be Brooke, Lance and Warren and the final 2 will be Brooke and Lance. As ever, JMHO.
-
I thought I saw something on Cody's mouth, but didn't know what it was. I really loved Lance last night. It seemed so special for his grand pa.
I agree, Cody will be the one to go tonight.
I will be watching my grand children , so not sure if I will see much.
-
Ody, where are you my dear sister?
I knew it would be Cody.....
I missed a lot of the show. Our DVR player went on the blink and we don't get another one from the cable co till tomorrow. So I couldn't tape biggest loser. And the split screen is on the wide screen.
So I was switching back and forth, never knowing what was going on ....
Grrrrrrrrr
At least it wasn't the last show.
All in all I enjoyed what I saw. My girl went home on the biggest loser
. But she is doing very well at home.

Right choice on Dancing finals!! Fun show~~~how great were Kristi and Mark?
What a let-down when we no longer have this to look foward to!
-
Well, we still have another week of this until they choose the winner.
DH & I were comparing Kristi to Brooke and wondering if the two of them were competing against each other, who would win. I say Kristi but DH says Brooke. What do you think?
-
Anne, I think Kristi too.
-
I love to watch lacey and lance, I kind of hope they win.
-
I agree Spar, I love them too.
-
Kristi~~~so much style and grace!
-
I've been away and missed the results show and this Monday's show due to VCR malfunction. I'm routing for Lance. I've really enjoyed him over the weeks and how much he's improved. I still have a soft spot in my heart for Warren. I just can't warm up to Brooke and agree that Kristi would take her, hands down.
Just one more week.:(
-
I have missed the past couple of weeks due to atmospheric conditions, Channel 9 has the farthest away antenna and when we have overcast skies I can't pick it up, but good news they are putting in a booster antenna in Hickory in Feb. to improve reception in the mtns. Yes I am on antenna not cable/satellite.
I was worried when I heard that Warren was dancing but he has surprised me. I hope that it would be Warren but I think it will be between Lance and Brooke. My vote is for Lance.
I too think that Kristi would beat Brooke.

Sheila, y'all aren't required to go digital like the rest of the country?
-
Just because they are requiring digital doesn't mean you have to go with cable or satellite service. I had the cable cut off 5 yrs ago when my hubby was out of work and we couldn't afford the cable bill. We purchased an external antenna for 100 and get all the local channels we need. I have gone digital with the digital converter box for air broadcast signals, the one advertised with the $40 coupon from the gvmt. Before I put the converter box on I could get channel 9 with snow (low signal), but the converter box shows the signal strength and if it is too low, no reception. I have been assured by the engineers at the station that when they put up the new antenna my signal strength will increase for that channel.

Hi friends. The competition is getting really tight. I'm torn between Brooke and Lance. They are both good. Lance is by far the most improved and has such charisma on the dance floor. Brooke is so good she seems like a professional. I think Warren will go home this week. He has gone far but is no match for the other two. The finals will be between Brooke and Lance. JMO
-
I think I will root for Lance.......
I have watched him all season and he is really good.
-
This is it - it's all over tonight!!!! I still think Brooke should win. I like Lance, but I don't think his hip-hop was as good as Brooke & Derick's fifties dance. Although I love Warren, it would be wrong if he won. If Lance were to win, I would not be upset, but IMHO, Brooke should get it.
-
I'm liking Lance, although I think Brooke will get it. Won't complain no matter who wins as I didn't vote, lol...
-
Hi Folks. I have never posted on this site, but thought I'd share a little fun with you all. I do amateur competitive ballroom dancing and just got back from a huge competition. I just wanted you to know that when I was watching the pro competition Max (who is not on this year, but has made guest appearances) sat right in front of me. Of course, he was using his iphone the whole time the comp was going on.

Elisabeth - You got to see Max up close? Does he look as good in person as he does on TV?
I think Brooke will probably win. She is really good. Sometimes I forget she is not a professional. That 50's dance was fantastic! I was very dissapointed with Lance's hip hop.
-
Hi Odalys. Yes - he looks exactly the same in person. Often they don't look the same. I also know Tony Devaloni (don't know how to spell his last name) quite well. He actually is more handsome on TV than in person. He is also a big brat.
