Tender, was your son as upset about the Giants last night as I was? What a pathetic performance by Big Blue! Yell I don't want to see anymore of the Eli of old - poor passing decisions, immobile in the pocket - BLECK!! What happened to the QB that showed up for the last seven games (includes three from last season)? Bring HIM back!!

The Jets are wearing their 'throwback" uniforms, Bonnie. The ones they started in waaaaay back in 1960. They are pretty hideous, but I think since Farve had that 6 TD game last week in it, they may be here to stay - at least until they lose...

The Jets were originally known as the Titans way back when and they are the old uniforms.

My goodness - the Jets nearly gave me heart failure yet again! Leading 24-6 at halftime, they let the Patriots come back and tie the daggone game with one second left in regulation! Thanking the good Lord that they won the OT coin toss...

Wow. Both NY teams at the top of their division. Hasn't happened in a looooooong time...

Felicia:  Wow, I forgot about the Thursday games.  It really upsets me that we can't see them unless we pay for them.  From the sounds of it, I would have been biting my nails last night.

Sunday it's DaBears against our biggest rivalry - Green Bay Packers on their turf.  I'm nervous just thinking about it.

I'm a Pats fan - I went to bed at 10 (got to get up for work in the am), but I couldn't sleep - turned on the tv because I knew why I couldn't sleep, the Pats were doing so badly.  I couldn't believe the miracle they pulled off - 1 second to go??????  Anyway, they still lost, but at least they didn't go down without a fight.  Congrats, Felicia!

Nicki, you have to PAY to see Thursday games?!? Here, the Jets/Pats game was on a regular network channel. Do you just have to pay if the teams playing are not local?

I almost went to bed on the game, too, Anne. I kept flipping between the game and CSI and each time I turned back, the lead had gotten smaller. When Favre lead that 7 minute drive late in the fourth, I just knew it was all over but the shouting. I guess Mangini (Jets coach) did, too, as he somehow stopped putting the effective double coverage on Mr. Moss that had worked all game long. I wanted to reach through the screen and shake him! I like the new QB, too. Think Brady will be back before the end of the season?

Only Thursday games we get will be local when Da Bears are playing.  I like football and would have loved to see that game.  Like it when It's a nail biter, but Da Bears arn't involved.  Ya know you have Brett Farve!  Our enemy for years lol.

Wow, Felicia, it looks like you are enjoying a well deserved good season for your teams.  I know you have been a fan though thick & thin.  Congrats.

I just saw you question about Tom Brady - what I honestly (but hope I'm wrong) think is that Tom will never play professional football again.  I think his injury is way more serious and older than they ever let on - it's pretty weird that he did not play at all in the pre-season and he went out on the first play of the season.  From the beginning, they said he would not be back this season.  After his surgery, he got a bad staff infection that could have been life threatening.  The Patriots are so closed mouth about everything, if it wasn't so serious, I think they would have said something.  JMHO

Wow. That would be such a shame if Brady never played again! Had no idea his injuries might be more serious than was reported...

The good news is that Kassel is looking pretty amazing! Two 400+ yard games in a row?!? I think Brady might have a battle on his hands if he did come back...

Great games yesterday, huh?!? Joyce, wonder what they'd call a Superbowl between the Giants and Jets? NJ Turnpike Bowl?

Matt Cassell has really suprised me - in the pre-season, he was awful, I wanted the team to pick some one else for QB.  He has really stepped up.  It's odd, the way Brady got his shot was because Drew Bledsoe had a potentially life threatening injury and when Brady stepped up, that was the first year since 1985 we went to the Superbowl.  I don't know if Matt Cassell can do the same, it will be interesting to see him give it a try.  Please remember that those are just my thoughts on Brady based on the closed mouths of the Patriots, I could be completely wrong (I hope!).  If I am right, he's set for life money wise and he has Giselle.

Me, embarassed?!? Extremely hard to do, Anne! (you didn't at all, btw)...

He is throwing well. If he is the new QB due to Brady's injuries, I'd be afraid! Not a good legacy to walk into...

Honestly!!!  I NEVER thought I would be rooting for the Jets.  I prefer to think of it as rooting for a Miami loss Wink.

Well, the Giants loss by one. Dear Son isn't crying this time. Growing up as men-teens do; myself, I prefer a good cry now and then (Cry).

I never thought I'd be rooting for the Bills, Anne, but I was, lol. But the Pats deserved to win today. Congrats!

The Miami/Jets game is good! Pulling for the Jags, though; If they beat the Ravens and the Jets beat Miami, Gang Green is in!!

Gonna only be able to catch the Chargers/Broncos game tonight via radio, Lisa. Gotta take my grandmother back to NYC. It's gonna be a good game, I think...

    Sorry Felicia,

Both the Pats & the Jets are done for this season.  At least you still have the Giants.  My football season is over for this year.  They are saying we will probably lose Matt Cassell next year and who knows what is going on with Brady.  I now turn my attention to the World Champion Celtics. (just a little boastingEmbarassed).  Good luck to all the teams that make the playoffs.

Great win by the Chargers Lisa.

I'm really more interested in seeing the internal blowup of the Cowboys after today's debacle.
