Did any of you doctors give you Zoladex to preserve the ovarian during chemo? Any one has that experience?

    I took Zoladex during chemo and then for five years during Tamoxifen.  It was a shot in my stomach every 3 months - sounds worse than it really is.  The only side effect is hot flashes and you can take Effexor to help with that. 

    I did eventually get my period back about 9 months after the last zoladex injection.  And from there, I was able to get pregnant and have a wonderful one year old son!  If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them for you.  I'd do the zoladex - totally worth it!

    HI

    Ive been on zoladex on and off for a few years now, when I have stopped periods where back to normal within 2/3 months - no pregnancy plans for me though, I asked to go back on it!
