Doctor visits

I was sitting here wondering..When all the treatments are done-how often do you see your oncologist?  Hw often if you're doing harmone therapy (pill)?

    I've been seeing my oncologist every three months to get a renewal on my Tamoxifen prescription.

    I go every 6 months and have for the last 4 1/2 years.  Have been on arimidex all this time also. I take 1 tablet daily.  If anything feels different or you feel something is wrong the onc will usually do a pet imaging or bone scan.  Where are you at on treatment. Hope all goes well with you.     I am trip neg so my doctor said he will see me more at first.  I just finished treatment so now I will see him every 3 months for 3 years.

    My surgeon said he wants to see me every 6 month for 2 years and then every year (I had mastectomy). My oncologist will probably see me every 3 months since I will need tamoxifen.

    Mast chemo, and arimidex here. Every 6 months for BS and for onco.  Trying to decide who I don't need to see any more as supposedly I'm cured, so I'm thinking both are overkill.  In fact, my pcp does more for me on a trip basis than they do. HE could run the blood test and cost me and the insurance a whole lost less mulah! :D  so I am considering that for the new year.

    My surgeon sees me every 6 months for the first 5 years; after that, annually.

    I have to see my medical oncologist every 3 months for 2 years, then every six months for 3 years, then once a year after that. I'm all done with the breast surgeon, and have to see my PS every 6 months right now, hopefully I'll be finished with that after the nipples are tattooed on.
