New Bra & Boob!

I just had to shout a little cause I'm happy!  I felt like a 12 year old going to get her first training bra today.  I got my prothesis and masectomy bra fitting today!  I can actually go out in public without feeling like I have to cover up with gathers - oversized - or jackets!  I've got boobs!  Let's hear it for the boobs - and the people who make them!  They are awesome people!  Laughing

    Isn't it so strange. I can't imagien though, as teen, going online to the WORLD WIDE WEB to announce I got fitted for my first bra and/or boobs! :D 

    Congrats on your new members (girls!)  May you wear them proudly...although it surely sounds like you are, and enjoying them immensely! :D  You go girl!

    Congrats Wblibray-  Enjoy the girls. 

    I hope to get my script next Tuesday (bilat on 10/17) It has not been all that bad going with out  -very small original ones all my life anyway -but it will be nice to have thwe option to wear or not to wear.

    My sister in India has gone thro a mastectomy. I would like to buy her a prosthetic breast. what do i need to know and where do i get it from?

    Helga - you need to have her fitted by a professional.  The Cancer Society website is a great place to start to get names and places for a prosthesis and mastectomy bras.   Perhaps they can recommend somewhere in India for her to go or you to call to help her out.  My lady actually came to my hospital for my measurement and then I went to her shop for the final fitting.   She took care of all my insurance papers too.  I had a marvelous experience.  I hope you find the same for your sister.  Good luck
