The vulture guided Rosarian through the dark city. "We must get to the catacombs where we can find help quickly," he urged. Rosarian was trying to think of a way to escape and walked like he had a CLUBFOOT to slow them down.
-
As they approached the last intersection before the catacombs, Rosarian tripped. He wanted to cry, the day had been brutal and was still going strong. As he fought his tears, he saw it. There, it was, right in front of his eyes, the colorful....
-
fabrics worn by the vulture's cronies. Costumes he had never seen before. He was surrounded by the FOLKLORE of the catacombs.
-
He decided right then and there he was going to become a FOLLOWER of these traditions. He so loved everything he saw and heard. Now, how to ditch the vulture and his cronies?
-
Rosarian BELLOWED out (which, he knew, was quite uncharacteristic of him as he was rather shy), the first thing that came into his head, singing while spinning:
"'Tis a gift to be simple
Tis a gift to be free
Tis a gift to come down where you ought to be,
And when we find ourselves in the place just right,
It will be in the valley of love and delight.
When true simplicity is gained,
To bow and to bend we shan't be ashamed.
To turn, turn will be our delight,
Til by turning, turning we come round right."
-
Suddenly everyone nearby MELLOWED out. Those words had such an effect on them that they dropped to their knees and began to chant.
-
Rosarian was amazed. He didn't feel like he had any leadership qualities. But he had taken these HOLLOWED out people and made them feel more whole, if only for a time.
-
But when he turned around he saw the vulture. He GLOWERED at his son. It was obvious that he was jealous of Rosarian's effect on the crowd.
-
Rosarian tried to smile back at his dad, then he noticed two WEIRDOES stealing wallets from the chanting crowd. No way was he going to allow this!
-
from weirdoes:
Judging from their WARDROBE they had just been playing at the grocery store because it looked like they had squirted ketchup and mustard all over each other. They were dripping with pickle juice and smelled like vinegar.
-
The only DRAWBACK of their plan was the rancid smell that attracted everyone's attention. Rosarian turned back to his father. He had disappeared into the crowd.
-
Rosarian was WRACKING his brain trying to decide what to do. At least he wasn't in his father's clutches.
-
Rosaian was wrecking everything that he touched! Stay away from him.
-
Poor Rosarian, it was time to go and find a safe place for himself without BREAKING anything.
He left the weirdoes, his dad, everything that just took place, and hopped on a bus to wherever it was going. The bus driver took one look at him and said ............
-
"Yo, crossbreed! I'm SPEAKING to you! Get to the back of the bus with your messy self."
Rosarian looked at himself and realized he looked quite a mess. "Oh, sorry," he muttered.
-
A mean hearted passenger at the front of the bus was FREAKING out. He shouted at Rosarian as he walked by, "You don't deserve to live, you nasty crossbreed!"
-
This was just the type of REACTION that he had encountered his entire life. He was not going to take it anymore!
-
As Rosarian was about to get into a fight, the bus started to roll down the road. Because of the rain, the wheels lost TRACTION and started to skid into traffic. Oh no, they were heading right towards the Vulture.
-
INACTION by Rosarian could mean the end of his father. What should he do?
-
Rosarian knew he had to act in a FRACTION of a second. "Stop! Stop the bus!" he yelled.
-
But it was too late, the bus hit the vulture and created a FRACTURE on his head.
The paramedics and police were called. Rosarian got off the bus to wait with the vulture who was bleeding and swearing.
-
It looked like the vulture's head was CRATERED. Rosarian wondered how the vulture could continue to talk in his condition. "My half witted crossbreed son must have done this!" the vulture swore. Rosarian felt terrible.
-
WTF???? Why would the vulture say this about his own flesh, blood, and feathers. Rosarian had actually been thinking of having a party and calling the CATERERS for when his dad, the vulture, recovered from his injuries.
-
Rosarian was hoping that the vulture had said that because of his brain injury. When they got to the hospital, they put a CATHETER in the vulture, and got him ready for surgery.
-
He seemed to be doing well, but then he broke out in fowlhives because he was unable to TOLERATE the high dosage of pain killers.
-
They also had to put him on NITRATES because he had chest pain. They weren't sure if he had a heart attack.
-
While in the waiting room, Rosarian watch a couple of TITANICS movies to pass the time.
-
Rosarian thought the Titanic movies seemed to mirror his life. He set out to do something good for everyone, and end up going from one CRITICAL point to another.
-
While he was thinking about really important stuff, the stripper arrived and asked him if his fence was LATTICED.
-
Rosarian didn't know where the stripper was coming from. Rosarian hoped that the stripper was emotionally ATTACHED to the vulture, but what did fences have to do with anything? Maybe the stripper was just anxious and babbling.
