kay, it is so nice to see you posting again! Did you call me early one morning this week? I thought I was dreaming, but saw I had a missed call. I am just getting crazier by the day. I haven't been faithful about posting here as often, but I keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
Nicki, you are right. Thank God it is Friday! This has been a tough week for many of us. Looking forward to better days ahead.
It has been awhile, but I would like to post a prayer for us here. Gather around with me, if you will that our circle will not be broken......
Dear Father in Heaven, God we thank you for this forum where we can meet and share our lives with others who have been touched by this horrible disease. We come together as a group, Lord, lifting up your name for praise, and lifting each other's names up in prayers for healing and help and friendship. So many here have really been suffering. We lift them up and ask you to be especially close to them. Ease their pain and suffering. Be with their families and friends and give them strength and courage. If possible, Lord, grant them hope. These women here are so inspiring to me God. They take more than most people ever could and yet they continue giving to all of us. For those in pain, we ask for ease and comfort. For those with fear, we ask for peace. For each of us God we ask for your guidance and wisdom in dealing with our situations and each other. And we pray for miracles. We know that you still perform them and if you perform them for us, we will give you all the praise and glory and honor. My heart breaks thinking of all those this disease has taken from us. We miss them. We don't want any more to be lost. Father please give us a cure for this disease. Greater awareness has helped so much in decreasing the mortality rate, but Lord, we need a cure. Children need their parents and husbands and wives need each other, and so do friends. We humbly beseech you for a cure. Lord I especially lift up the following names to you and ask your watchcare over them. And you know their needs and that there are those I may miss or not know about. For those I ask the same dear God. For slonedeb from ky, for Deb C from Alaska, from Footprints angel Deb, for Lisa, for Puppy, and for all of us who cry out to you for mercy. I ask it all in the name of Jesus. Amen
