Here is the blue mountains, wouldn't mind standing under that waterfall.
Hope every one has a good day hiking and exploring, seeing animals, and just hanging out around the campfire and enjoying the fresh air. You may find some friends on your walk or meet a stranger. Whatever your day brings make it interesting.

Just popping in to say hello. Thanks for the buggy. Very thoughtful.

Look what I came across when I took my hike this morning -

I got tired of sleeping on the ground and roughing it so I rented this cabin and have fallen in love with it. A fireplace to sit on the really cool morning with my cup of hot chocolate and a lake to kayak no matter what the weather. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms to have all my friends visit whenever they want to. Good hiking trails, a nice deck to sit on for a glass of wine at night. I may stay here awhile. Have seen several little creatures on my hikes here.
Very interesting wildlife here. I love it.

I am planning on finding a nice mountain trail with a view, take a large pot of coffee, and just walk slowly and reflect. Too much going on in my life--thank you for the serenity and peace.
-
There is a really nice hiking trail out behind my cabin. At the end is a bluff overlooking the lake where you can sit and reflect on our inner thoughts and have a cup of coffee in a great big huge mug. Keep on climbing and enjoying the top view.

Goodmorning mountain climbers. What a beautiful picture above.
Look what we woke up to this morning. We need to get the sleds out for some and the ski's out for some. Bundle up good before the hike this morning. Have a good day all, cup of hot chocolate to start you out and a big breakfast to keep you going.

I don't know about anyone else but I think I'm ready to sit by the fire for awhile -

Hi everyone
Gone all day...went to a DAR meeting and heard a talk by a Navy seal...very interesting...
BTW...last I heard the old man in the mountain in New Hampshire fell down the mountain...my husband went to Dartmouth and that is what we heard...
-
The redwoods would be a beautiful place to see in the mountains
-
You all are speaking of snow and it was in the upper 70's here today. We even cleaned the deck ....
Love this little place where there is just peace.

Good Morning to everyone. A cold front came into Chicago, so even though we don't have real mountains, I will see the clouds over Lake Michigan on my ride to work this morning. They will look like mountains. Wish I could capture a picture of them to show you, but my lil ol camera phone doesn't work well, especially while driving.
Spar: I loved your mountain scene. Made my mind drift away for a bit. To another world filled where worry and fear about bc doesn't exisit. Although when I saw the horse I smiled. Think I will take a ride rather than walk this morning. Would love to feel the cool air hitting my face and I ride through the snowy ground. So thankful to be here and be able to share good feelings with so many friends. Hope you have a good day.
Sheri: Going for a walk and thinking about things is one of my favorite things to do. I know your going through a difficult time right now and hope your walk and dreams brought you some peace. Thinking about you, especially today - praying benign all the way.
Valerie: I just loved the picture of the fireplace. The room looks so comfy and inviting. Thinking about making some homemade hot apple cider and pumpkin cookies when I get home from work. Take off my shoes, put up my feet and say thanks to the spirits that surround us with such love.
SoCal: Hi to you. Thank you for the laugh this morning! The old man falling down the mountain made me laugh. Wondering what kind of things the Navy Seal talked about. Ever since we opened up a unit at work for people who have cancer and need rehab - well I'm finding myself getting more involved than I should. Knowing that I can come home to the mountain is always on my mind - where I can just sit down, enjoy my friends, and relax. Oh and BTW! TGIF.
Janny: I loved the picture of the redwoods. Another nice quiet scene that lets ones mind drift away. I could picture myself walking through that beautiful forest with my dog Mister.
MaryLou: Ah yes, hard to imagine Winter when it's so warm. We were in the 70's on Tuesday...a beautiful Fall day. That was only 3 days ago and now we are expecting snow. I went shopping for a bit yesterday and the feeling hit me. ThanksGiving is just around the corner. I too love the peace and serenity. Very thankful that I have met so many wonderful people. Hope you have a good day too.
Well, I will be pulling out my boots and Winter coat today. The Windy City as we call it, always brings a chlll to your bones when it's cold and I will be out there all day today. I should wear a hat, but hate the thought of it. Don't seem to like hats too much anymore since chemo. Maybe get a cape with a hood? I can't wait to come home - as I will be looking forward to the warmth of the fire and the comfort of that soft couch. Hope you all have a grand day.

I'm planning to head up one of those mountain roads and use some of these beautiful pictures to think about while I'm waiting for my PET scan. I'll be looking for a sense of peach and serenity.

Goodmorning, all mountain climbers. Enjoy your day, no matter what is going on in your life you will have the mountains to come home to.
-
WOW Val,
I'm normally a beach person but that cabin sure does look like a great place for R & R...We should all have a place like that to get away to and hide from b/c... Great photos here hugs KLynn
-
Still waiting, scan was postponed. I'm going to bring some supplies and hunker down in that cabin for a while.
-
It was so cold and foggy this morning but the walk through the redwoods was invigerating. Now I am ready to sit in front of the fire for the evening
Got to get that fire started and make some cocoa.
Dear hubby had the outdoor firepit going. Very nice and cozy

Good Morning Mountain Friends. I'm up early and loving the time to just sit here and reflect about things. It's a bit chilly this morning so I put logs on the fire. As you all start getting up for the day you will smell the aroma of fresh coffee and Johnny Cakes. It penetrates the air and once you open your eyes, you won't be able to go back to sleep.
Here is the campfire, glowing as the sun is rising.
Here is the coffee to share with all my friends.
Of course only the best maple syrup in the world in at your fingers tips.
Some warm muffins too.
Last but not least. For those of us dieting, a nice healthy bowl of cereal. High fiber, low fat, low sugar! Made with only the best ingrediants known to man.
So please come join me for a wonderful Saturday morning in the mountains. Have a great day.
