OK. So the latest studies are showing that Tamoxifen is not so good for ILC. Can I assume this does not include the AI's (like Femara) since they do not work the same way in that they actually block the production of estrogen, not the estrogen receptors? Please tell me this is so?!
My tumor was 100% ER/PR+, so I am really relying on my Femara to keep things at bay. At least I know it is working, because I have some serious joint pain and hot flashes/sweats going on 
!

I've got the same question. Although mine is PR almost negative so I have even less chance of responding. I'm in the serious joint pain hot flash club for sure.

It is more the ER/PR status that determines endocrine therapy. I am on AI's and have been since finishing chemo in July 2006.
