Jackie, isn't this awesome? I am not HER2 positive, but am glad to see so much progress being made. I am sorry, I don't know the answer to this. I would recommend googling your question, for example, Neuvax vaccine candidates or something key to get your answer. There are many articles on this vaccine. Hope this works for all of the HER2 girls. Maryiz

I believe it will be, my oncologist said when the vaccine becomes available I will get it, so in reading about these trials and what he said, I pray for this to be the cure!

Diana T: Hi, I have just been reading your posts and see that you are the same age as me with a similar dx and it looks like you have two beautiful children. I have three, two girls 6 and 4 and a 5 month old boy. I am in the middle of tx right now and have two more left and kind of getting crazy emotional lately and having a hard time whenever I think about my future and my husband and kids, wondering how you handle it? Can't believe we are 31 with this nightmare! Best wishes. Lauren

Hi Lauren! I actually have 4 kids, 12, 4 and 2 yr old girls and a 7 yr old boy, we also raise my neice - 15 yrs. I understand the emotional crazy feelings you have. The middle of treatment to the end of treatment was the hardest time for me emotionally as well as my husband. It does suck being 31 and going thru all of this. I have a bunch of friends pregnant right now (7 of them) and I feel sorry for myself when they are all excited about life and I am so scared about my life. I put one foot in front of the other, lean on my husband, pray, pray, pray, pray and pray. I remember coming home from one of my last treatments so tired and I sat on my couch and watched my little ones playing with my wig, saying momma look at me, momma. I am determined to be around to be their momma until their kids have kids.
God bless!

Hello to both Diana and Lauren,
I was dx at 39. with my 2 little ones coming in at 4 and 8. It is now 4 years later. I was stage 2 her2 pos. er/pr-......You are both right in the respects that sometimes it just seems like there is no light!!!!
and diana.......the day that my Family Dr. looked me in the face and said...."Can you believe this shit!!!! you have Breast Cancer!!!!" I looked right back at her and refused to cry and told her I plan on being around here when My KIDS bring me their kids and they are breaking my stuff in my house!!!!!! You both can do it!!!
This new vaccine would be Wonderful!!!!
Good luck to both of you!
