Hi there, today I had a small moment of victory that I wanted to share with all you women out there going through life after breast cancer - as you will be the only ones who truely get how this would feel - today I truely beat it as I stood there at the age of 38 winning a Senior Womans Grade 2 Competitive Netball Competition (running for 6 months against 17 other teams)  4 1/2 years after being diagnosed with stage 2B Breast Cancer at the age of 33. I am a mum of 4 beautiful daughters and however small a victory it was - I though to myself "Not bad for someone who had breast cancer 4 1/2 years ago" - as I stood on the podium to receive my trophey and looked out to my children and husband watching me, I thought what a long way I had come and what a long journey it has been, but most importantly what a joy it is to be here, fighting the good fight each day.

Please excuse my ramblings - but I am just really proud of myself today, and there are often days when I look in the mirror and stare at my masectomy scar and don't feel so great ! So for any of you out there wondering will it ever get back to some sense of normal - today was a testament to it doing so and a testament to life going on.

My love and warm wishes to you all - coming girls let's kick some butt !!!!

 Ana
