Websites for post-mastectomy exercises

Hi, all--
I didn't get very much information from my hospital about stretching exercises when I was recovering from my mastectomy + SNB, so I looked for some on-line. There are some pretty good websites showing exercises that are useful for regaining strength and range-of-motion on the affected side. I thought I would list some of those sites here.
Before you do any of these exercises, be sure to get your doctor's OK. Sometimes if you start doing rigorous physical activity too soon, you can develop problems like seromas, bleeding, and perhaps even lymphedema. So, get an OK first. If you get approval from your doc, you might try some of these:

BCO has a web page that discusses some research about the benefit of "professional" physical therapy versus just getting a printed handout from the hospital:

I have web-site I created for breast cancer information.
www.breastcancersisters.ca
I tried to make it as user friendly as possible, setting up information the way I would want to find it on a web-site.
I also have information on Lymphedema there, most are links to places like the BC Cancer Agency.
Hugs
I am open to having people send me valid info through my contact page on the site.
The sharing of information and resources is so helpful to all of us on this journey.

I used a DVD purchased from Amazon ($13) called Alicethenics by Alice Saland. It's a short exercise routine (about 20 minutes) that includes standard post-surgical arm stretching, and some variations, plus basic exercises to improve lymphatic flow and some general yoga-like stretches. I find it easier to do exercises when I've got someone to follow, and Saland is pleasant (and a survivor).
And I just discovered this other DVD, but haven't tried it yet:

to the top for Annie. (The reason why this page is scrolling off the side of the computer screen is because of a very long web link in an earlier post that isn't breaking at the end of the line.)

LAPhoenix, thanks very very much for the info on the Amazon DVD. I agree that it will be much easier for me to do the post surgery exercised if Ihave someone to follow.

Otter,
Being a PT, I had to check these out. These links are great, especially the ones with pictures/animations. A lot of these are good for women with osteopenia/osteoporosis, too, to help keep the upper back & torso from developing deformities & curvatures.
Thanks & wanted to bump these, so here goes.
