Tomorrow marks my 6 year anniversary of being cancer free! I wanted to stop by and say hi to my friends here! I want you to all know that if it werent for you ladies i would'v never made it through all the crap the treatments brought on! Having you all here to share those fun side effects and sleepless nights is what made me stronger and kept me from feeling that i was all alone! I hid for several years due to the feelings i didnt quite know how to sort..Some how i thought if i ran and denied it it couldnt catch me however ive learned recently that i need to embrace this experience as its what has made me who i am today! I want to give a special thanks to Pepper, Sunshine, and Harley honey you 3 were the bright spots in many of my days! I dont know who is and isnt here anymore but would like you to know here or not you left me with the courage and strength to move forward..luv to you all!! Tammie

Tammie - congrats on 6 years.  I had so many post-surgerical complications that I didn't realize how far out I am from my original dx until recently.  I will hit 4 years in December - and I am starting to count down the months until I can stop taking Arimidex.

I can't wait to hit my 6 year mark!

I'm doing great!  Had to have my implant replaced because an incidental finding of a chest CT showed it had ruptured and it kept falling to the side when I laid down/

Had it done the 16th and it's great to have it stay on my chest, but it wasn't ruptured----just showed that way.  I knew it, but at least it's not uncomfortable anymore.

I was released by my onc last summer!!!  Just followed by mammo and pcp now.  Ain't life without oncs great!
