chemo, any one had? Help

My doctor finally told me to be on AC every 2 weeks for 4 cycles followed by Taxotere for 4 cycles.

He said it is beter than TAC given all in one shot every 3 weeks. He said Taxotere is better than Taxol. Any idea? Pls help if you know. Thanks.

    the AC/T regimen will be much easier for you to handle than TAC ~ all 3 together really knocks you for a loop.  When I had TAC the first wk I did not feel well, the 2nd wk I felt exhausted, and the 3rd wk was good, so really felt ok only 1/3 of the time for 3.5 mos... it was hard.  As far as which is better, Taxotere or Taxol, I'm really not sure.  I had Taxotere for TAC, but later had Taxol alone for mets.  Some women tolerate one better than the other, but they are the same family of drugs.  Hope this helps.  And don't worry, you CAN do this ~ it is tough, but you will find out you are much tougher than it is!!!
