One of those days

I've been having a few "one of those days" days. Weepy over a lot of things. Scared of "it" coming back. But really that's not the focus of it. Just some emotional days. I also feel like I'm getting an aversion to sleep
I sleep when I finally go to bed but I have to force myself to go. i know in a few days I'll be doing fine again but these few days are really not fun. I'm off my Zoloft (months of weaning off - nothing sudden about that!) and this small part of me wonders if need to permanently be on something. Sigh.
Just thought of something - I'm going to the neurologies on the 28th to have my migraine auras checked - maybe deep down I'm really worried about them. I had a brain MRI, so I know that is clear but it seems like everytime I go to a new dr they find something wrong. Last year was my heart. Maybe that's what this all is. Sigh again.
Anyway - thought maybe sharing would help get some of it out. Thanks for reading.

Hi Jill.....{{hugs}} for the bad day. I still get those and they seem cyclic, although I'm supposedly in menopause from chemo, I'm not sure why they happen. Just seem to hit and then as you say, are gone in a couple days. Are you still have menses, could it be cyclic? I've heard of some women needing anti-depressents b/c of the hormone changes. Perhaps you in need of something to keep you leveled out so to say.
The other thing I know, is that with winter coming, a lot of people suffer from seasonal affect with the changing in length of days. It affects a lot more people than are willing to admit it. Talk to someone if you think it would help. Surely can't hurt to talk to them
Untill then....here are some {{{Hugs}}} and prayers you get through this time, with a quicker recovery from that down feeling and start feeling yourself and happy again soon.
Good Luck with you appt, up and coming!

Hi, Jill, I, too, have experienced those days. I think it is the waiting for the other shoe to drop syndrome. None of us know what will happen, no one is alike, as the doctors tell me, so assurances that we will be fine are not always enough. The only thing I can tell you is that I take Lexapro and it has helped me to cope better. My next goal is to work on the physical part of my being that I can control. I am going to try yoga and try to eat better. These things are not curealls, but they do seem to help. Hang in, Maryiz
