I love music!  I have hardly listened to it at all for 7 months...sure a few times here & there.  But today I got out my Favorite Mix while I was working & it felt almost normal!

me & Deja even danced around : )  We Smiled.   She enjoyed the Music & less stressed  Mom too.

Yeah I didnt use to cry when I listened to music...But I only said it was ALMOST normal.Surprised

So this is a reminder to dig out your favorite Music & Listen & enjoy.

Pam

I'm with you guys-I love music, and it certainly did help me get through all the treatments, etc. Now I want to be out dancing, socializing, etc. and that's what I'm doing!!

My favorite invention of this century is XM radio. I have a mobile unit that I can listen to anywhere, so it is in my car, out in the garden,. in the bathroom when I shower and get dressed, and in the kitchen when I'm cooking. I love it! The best part is - NO COMMERCIALS! You can listed to a channel of just 60's, 70's, soul, a "blend", etc., and I find myself singing and dancing, too!

Yes, I love music too!  I have always done my housework to music....just makes the time go by that much faster.  I love any kind of music, country, oldies, rock, etc.  I have always been an AC/DC, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath kind of person (party!!!).  I like some rap and a lot of the current pop music.  I finished treatment in October 2006.  Well, the summer of 2007 was spent with Kidrock blaring out of my car and my house.  I think I had some anger issues and it felt really good to swear a lot (but really only be singing).  My kids thought that this was hysterical since I am 49 years old.  Oh, well, like I said, I love ALL music.

You've never cleaned till you've done it half nekkid and listening to Bach!!

I have workout music, stress music, sleep music, et al.  stress music is turned up so loud with such bass, that the mirrors on the car vibrate in tune to the beat!

Does anybody collect the song of the week from Starbucks on itunes?

They give away a little card with a code and you download it. The songs are a little unusual. I've got 3 so far and I'm trying to get an entire playlist.

I love lots of Music.  Rock- New & Old,  Acoustic.  I Love going to see Local Bands here in Minneapolis....Look Up Epic Hero, Panoramic Blue, Charlz Newman, Roger, Jeremy  Messersmith & Jetsun on My Space to name just a few ...Unfortunately only 2 of those bands still play!

Some of My favorite bands are the Jayhawks, Neil Young,  The Beatles, John Lennon, The Stones,  Greenday, U2.   I was dancing to Ringside yesterday 'Tired of Being Sorry'  Has a Great beat.  I love the Fray, Snow Patrol, Augustana...And tons more.

I swim laps to work out.  (or at least I will again be doing laps when released from surgery. LOL) and I just yesterday learned that MP3 players are made for swimmers!!!!   Yiippppeeeee!!!!

Will have to wait for mother's day or birthday since they're kinda expensive and my Santa list has already been sent.  Unless I find a good sale before then!  LOL

I love my iPod. It's worth the price of a thearpist.

When you get to where all those toxic thoughts are running through your head over and over your iPod gets rid of them.

I try to go to Starbuck's every week and pick up their "pick of the week." That's a card that gives you a code for a free song download. It's never anybody I"ve ever heard of, but who says an old dog can't listen to something new now and then! Anyway, it' free.
