    To all the wonderful Beach friends,Sahalie thanks for caring, Its a great day to remember all the wonderful friends we have here, Faith I need to see those angels of yours please. Mary Lou, How old is your little ones?  I think I will light a fire at the beach and count my friends and blessing. To all I forgot have a very peaceful night.     Hey Beachie Kids!!!

    I'm home-- I think! What a whirlwind vacation!

    It started on Fri with old friends taking me to San Diego for the weekend---what a perfectly Beeyootiful place! We went to Sea world (where we saw rescued manatees & dined with Shamu)  Later that nite a Fantastic dinner of pear stuffed ravioli at Bella Luna. Rain fell & made the nite streets sparkle as we walked down to Ghirardelli's for ice cream (their desert rat was delighted with the idea of walking in the rain! LOL)  Sunday found us traveling down the coast to La Jolla for a beach stop so the desert rat could body surf--then the special surprise for me--San Jaun Capistrano!!!  LOVELY lunch at Cedar Creek & on to Santa  Ana--then dropped off at South Point for the gathering!!!!!   There were more than 27 chatters & friends gathered to take in the sites & each other! So much to share-I will have to give a bit at a time--pix should be available soon---LOTS of sunsets (if they turned out)

    Meanwhile I have tried to catch up===Hugs for all the bad stuff visited on the beach: toothaches, power failures, MRI-mess ups, feeling ill, being too busy, getting caught in the "all-together"!! But also celebrating all the good with you----anniversaries, grandbabies, vacations & things to anticipate! I'm waiting for Sahalie's surprise----and hope to have some fun to share in the next few days, but returning after 8 days leaves me with LOTS to do to catch up---like......groceries, doc app'ts, laundry & SLEEP to name just a few!

    zooooooooooming thru on the way to 'real life' of PT & planning ahead for my week of schools & speaking

    i'll be looking over your shoulders from atop a palm tree, somewhere beyond that gorgous driftwood i remember seeing earlier, so don't be the least concerned if i'm lost in a tidepool of my own making.

    i get to give the keynote @ an event in Atlanta at the end of the week -- and since we're that far south, we're gonna go on to FL and spend some time w/my parents (like the blink of an eye)

    at this point we're happy for all the "blinks" together -- that we can accumulate

    splashing vigorously on my way out the door!!

    Oh, JULZ I luved the song...John Denver always reminds me of when I lived out in Denver (as he did)...brings back LOTS of good times...when life was much more simple!

    A quick fly by to say hi to all and I loved through my first double weekend shift.  Had to send a nurse to the ER though, she just collapsed.  Got to go spend the rest of the day with my mom. Hope everyone has a wonder beachy day.

    Woo hooo have been de-cluttering my room.  hard work.  But I put it in there and I can take it back out or find a place for it.  I am tired of half finished projects and clutter.

    I tried to respond twice, but my power went off.... BOTH times!!   GRRR....

    We had fun at the festival, giving out samples of the dips and the blue crab salsa.  My leg was hurting, from standing up all day!!  But, my dh and I sold $327 in crab dip and crab salsa!!  We also sold 2 aprons, with funny sayings on them, about wine. 

    I like salsa, too.  My favorite way to eat it is when my dh makes nachos, and he puts tortilla chips on a cookie sheet, and pours medium/hot salsa on them, and adds cheese on top.  Then he bakes them, and they are so delicious!!

    I finished my first beaded necklace today.  I will try to take a picture of it, and post it, if I get a chance.

    Hello, my sweet beach friends.  Lisa, that collage is gorgous.  So glad dreamwriter and Saint got to go on the trip and meet their friends in person, that is so cool.

    Biker, I want to be a stow away with you, boy could we have fun!

    Lisa, is that a morning glory above?  I have tried to get a picture like that but mine never turn out right but all I have is a digital camera, no zoom in and out on it.  Maybe I just don't have the right kind of camera.

    Sahalie, I know you are getting more excited everyday, stop for a cup of hot chocolate with me and cookies.

    Julz, jewell of the beach, I could hear the job in your posting and in your voice about that sweet grandbaby boy.  Enjoy, they grow up too fast.

    Spar..I have no clue what that flower is...I just saw in a somebody's yard up  in Julian..

    I just stood back  and zoomed in on it...guess I does help to have a good zoom on a digital camera...make sure it is an optical zoom not a digital zoom...a digital zoom you can do on your computer...I am pooped tonight ladies..my neuropathy hurts more than usual..so I am going to bed...nite all...

    There are not enough hours between now & Thurs am departure for what needs to happen.
