Armpit pain new

2 days ago my armpit started hurting more than it has been. Yesterday morning it was puffy and very sore, by the night time I could tell it is swollen. I have two areas that feel hard, my armpit is slightly red and of course my breast still hurts.

My Mayo appt. is on Monday, is there anything I can do to ease the pain until I make it to the Dr.?

Also my right breast is a little warmer than the other- that started 3 days ago

Having swelling in the armpit, is that something to worry about? I have been dealing with this breast issue forever it seems like- it just keeps getting worst.

I was freaked out before, but now I am just FREAKED.

    I went to my family Dr. on Friday due to the pain, she gave me Elavil. Man I felt like I was in a new world, I woke up the next morning and most of the burning pain was gone. I am still really sore in the breast and armpit, but now I can tell where the pain is. I don't know why nobody gave me the meds before? I do not know what my pain means? For the first time in a week I slept so good. I see the Dr at Mayo in the morning.

    Back from the Mayo Clinic,they assure me everything is normal. They thought it was odd my breast shape was perky compared to other, they thought the nerve pain and the soreness was just unexplained (sometimes your breast hurt for no apparent reason). The Dr. agrees she feels something- maybe cyst, but imaging does not pick it up. The warmness on the top half of my breast is probably related to the nerves. Told me to keep taking Elavil and if I wanted she could give me Tamoxifen? if the pain was bad enough- but warned me it may be like the Danazol and cause major pain again, I said no- I do not want that pain! See me in 6 weeks.

    I guess there is nothing wrong with my breast, it just misbehaves!
