I was going to say that it was Clara bow too....but thought it was to obvious....LOL
The tooth is better and we had a great time with Sebastian at the parade! He was a little nervous...but seemed to like it. Came back and told his mom all about it. Not a word we really could understand, but the excitement was there just the same.
I will post pictures at a later date. I'm just beat after a long day.
Love to all
Have a great night.....

Beach Chick*
One of the things I am continually inspired by on the internet are all the people doing
good things, encouraging & inspiring others, and generally spreading joy.
-
I think this is the last post I am allowed for 24 more hours but wanted to tell everyone on the beach hi, I love them and wish them a very good night and weekend.

a good beachie day to eachie: one & all
jasmine if you're ever able to read a long -- i feel compelled to point out that the weekend has arrived, maybe you'll be able to pop in, surprise us & catch us up-to-date? missing you, missing your kindness. missing your care. sending you beach vibes.
it does seem that everyone has gotten into high gear of late, so tough when real life/work takes time away from the beach...... must keep it: the energy, in our hearts.
today is a recording studio day for me..... my arranger-buddy has moved to Nashville since we started this project -- he deserves & has the talent to make it BIG-time. ...anywho, he's making the trek back up here...... so it will be a marathon of creativity, fun, work, nonsense and progress.
i've been looking forward to it all week. isn't it important to have things to look forward to?
keep your fingers crossed that all of the mechanicals: computers, cables, microphones, gizzmos etc are in good working order, so that we get a lot accomplished.
beachie finds to one and all

Quick flyby, which is appropriate since the Blue Angels are in town for Fleet Week. Too many pages so didn't read back.
TGIF. This week has been horrible economically so maybe it will end today and we can start off next week in a better position. A friend in my cooking club turns 40 today so we're going someplace called Asia SF. It's a club where female impersonators put on a show and you have dinner during the show. Should be interesting. Hope everyone has a good day.

Has everyone here gotten the word about:

Just popping in to say Hi and I hope everyone has a great day on the beach!!
I have been getting these 'weather' type - headaches, and I just want to take a migraine pill and go back to bed, but I have to go grocery shopping, because we are running out of everything!!
Hope everyone has a great weekend, in case I don't get a chance to stop by. DH and I have plans this weekend, Sat. we are working at a festival, selling hot sauce, and Sunday, we are going to the Shrimp & Jazz festival. It's always fun, just browsing the vendors booths and listening to the music!!

It has been a busy day, the babies were here for a little while, so the house was once again a sea of toys and laughter. And yes baby smells, some not to sweet LOL....
Here is the little one at the parade last night...
Made a play pen out of the back of the truck....
Paw , paw and Sebastian looking on as the
firetrucks went by.
Road to my son's to pick up Sebastian
And of the mountains
Sebastian ready for the ride.....
This is a picture of a light house that some people
live in beside the lake.
Husband took this, just not on the right setting....
Was zoomed in to much, but you all get the idea. I'm going
to drive up close some day and take a picture. My son knows them.
I wish the colors would show up better.

I will be gone over the week end also, going to NC . If the weather is good we will be going to the drive through zoo. So look for more pictures when I return.
Babies aren't going this time, well at least not the grand babies. Just our girls......they have no children yet.
And I want you all to know that 33 years ago Tomorrow ( Oct 11TH ) my first baby was born....OMG! I feel old....very old.
Wishing all my sisters a good night

[What a week it's been............... ]
Hope: may it shine into each and every heart that walks along our beach
Hope: may it sparkle, as the shards of sea glass at waters edge
Hope: may it float to the top with surprises that wash up with the waves
Hope: may it grow stronger, nourished by the sunshine along the sand's fringe
Hope: may it be strengthend by the gifts of friendship & support that flourish in the salty air
Hope: may it be inspired by the treasures that are entrusted to us in talents & creativity
HOPE: may it be bold in the face of the unknown, in the face of suffering: powered by the depth of the sea
HOPE: may it be woven brighter & tighter, washing over us with the smell of seaweed & foam, as we continue to splash here with the joy of children -- who are excited, savoring the first-time exploration, uncovering the wealth and wonder of our initial visit to the shore together

We need some positive ions from this beautiful beach in Bandon OR, I just loved this place
-
I need some heat from the beach to bake this cold outta me.
So tired, after such a wonderful time in Vegas. I never had a wish to go to Vegas. But I really wanted to meet those chatters - rooming with Saint was terrific. Kosh was a floor away - so different but so so the same. Then there was Luanne and Terry and Pink and HI5 and and and.... a table for 30 for heavens sake!
Never got to ride Sally much but it was comforting to know she was there to help if my legs gave out. She did get to go to the pj party.
-
Wow that sounds like sooooo much fun!!! I hope you got some pix!!!

With every wave that comes in there is a some bit of sand moved, Like a persons heart,All it takes is alittle kindness, And like that wave sooner or later you have a castle of kindness.
-

Foots. Extra warm soft XOXO to you footprintsangel deb.
Mary Lou. I hope you are having a blast and a half in NC.
Luv. The babeeze photos are so sweet.

Two weeks and counting.

Positive thinking is enabling; it empowers you to say yes to life.
The first time you say yes, a small positive change happens.
The next time you say yes, the positive change is slightly larger.
Positive thinking feels good. It keeps you optimistic.
Look for the good and find it.
Positive thinking brings good things into our lives.
Look at medical research and see opportunities for growth and advancement.
People who look for the good end up feeling good because we focus on the good things in our life.
Staying positive makes every aspect of our life better.

I did check in... I told you I caught a cold. It put me out of commission for a few days but I am coming out of it.
Vegas.... everything went wonderfully. I have to write a letter to Delta about all their helpful smiling staff. I was treated wonderfully. My scooter was where it was supposed to be and I have now learned how to connect the batteries. It was a little distressing to be told the scooter could not go on the shuttle. I got a wheelchair taxi, no real biggie... but I wanted to be reimbursed.
Well I arrived to be hugged by Saint. What better thing could happen. We chatted a few minutes... I went down to the bar to say hello to HI5 and two other ladies. Returned to the room, it was huge, with everything you could need including the microwave in the closet (safe). Can tell I never travelled before.
Early wakeup and Saint and I are flying into clothes and trying to find something nutritious for breakfast as we are running to the front entrance. Granola bars and trail mix with water. And there was KOSH. We hopped into the convertible and drove part way to the Grand Canyon. Stopped off to get hats (no we did not bring hats) "WILD THING, Las Vegas" Baseball caps. We then managed to survive the 14 miles of unpaved road with the ROOF DOWN. Everything was covered in dust. Each hair was individually coated in dust. And we were laughing......!!!!!
The grand canyon tour was great. Got pix but not developed yet. Will get pix at wallmart, on disc. We ran out of time so we hurried back to the car.
Then it was the Grand Car Wash..... we laughingly wiped all the interior dust off, enough to create a new beach... then vaccuumed, then put it through the car wash. Back to normal. But we were still a mess.
I am staying mum about certain ladies revealing certain parts in public. Needless to say Freemond St got a surprise or two..... but I swear Saint and I were not part of it.
We had dinner together the second night. A table for 30. Wow. Thirty people, in a city so different from my own, and I am just part of the group... it was a comforting feeling.
My scooter (Sally) and I got home together, no problem... my plane was late and I missed my ride. So I called and begged and they sent another bus... I am good
So with the money `left over`from my trip I will get the photos done and buy an iron for my quilting projects.
Saint and I spent both days together and we were old friends in minutes
-
Dreamgirl thanks so much for the happy details of your trip-of-a-lifetime............
The Grand Canyon is so inspirational, isn't it?
Of course, I knew that you'd LOVE saint. What fun you must have had!!
love to each and all up and down the beach.
