.....have triple neg grade 3 (originally stage 2) recurrence (after 11 1/2 years) of breast cancer on masectomy site on pectoral muscle and near collar bone (clavicle)--- some cancer cells in intraclavicular lymph nodes

.....finished Docetaxol chemo and radiation....

....surgery not a real option unless they see that it has shrunk, etc. on a future CT scan

....who has a significant correlation of CA 15-3 blood tumor marker to their cancer status (not always seen as reliable--but has been in my case) ?

Over time it will be easier to see how much your TMs correlate to your cancer status.  Sometimes the markers will go up at first with a new chemo - resulting from tumor flare.  My TMs have been pretty reliable - but there are some who have significant disease and still show normal range of TM results.

Wishing you great news on your next CT scan.

I have bc all over my chest wall and going up and over my shoulders.  My tumor maker...46?  I find it unbelievable that you can have all the disease and a low tumor marker.  I have been told that markers are not the great of a tool unless you have bone/organ mets.  Mine does go up and down a few points but not much.
