Our dear friend Lindamemm has decided to leave the board due to on going harassment from the jerk. As with me the jerk is sending hate mail to us via PM.

Otter, a calm voice of reason. Thank you

LindaMemm took her ball and went home?? Why not post that hate-mail you claim to have received? We would all like to see it. I think you are a liar, and Linda Memm to if she claims to have left because of ongoing Hatemail. But of course that doesn't surprise me.

If everybody who was ignoring me would quite posting about ignoring me, there would be a lot less posts under this thread.

I like to believe that most people have good intentions. (I know...call me "Pollyanna"). One thing about worriedhubby1-8 is that he is an attorney and most attorneys I know like to have a lively "debate"...I think that his communication style just hit some people wrong and things just escalated. I do know that I have seen his posts on other threads that were just plain helpful. I do believe he has a wife with BC (I first saw a post from him asking something about his wife's condition).
I think that lots of times, we get so caught up in being "right" that we forget our manners and things get out of hand. I imagine an attorney would be VERY invested in being "right"--it's his livelihood, after all! I agree, though, that there is no need for name calling and overt insults.
Life really is too short to become so invested in having the last word or proving one's "rightness" on an internet message board! I do hope that everyone whose feathers have been ruffled can just take a step back, breathe, and carry on. Agree to disagree. The world would be an awfully boring place if everyone agreed all the time!

I feel sorry for this pathetic person!!!! this person has no compassion and empathy and obveiously has no life with anyone!!!! The sickest thing is that he or she is probably getting a cheap thrill over all these responses, how creepy!!! Imagine being this persons neighbor or co-worker! or worse related!!! The only response this one deserves is PITY!!!!

Thank You Bad Boob on behalf of Worried. I think Worried had nothing but good intentions, trying to give advice in his limited field of expertise, and speaking up against what he knew to be really rotten and likely dangerouse advice under the Tijuana thread and an anti-radiation thread. The concerted attacks by some of the women here against him are an interesting study in board dynamics. The intolerance here is simply not something one usually sees on guy boards, where there can be lively debates but never an attitude that a person does not have the right to express their opinions. And never do the moderators take sides like they do on this board. That is something I have never before experienced anywhere but here. I have gotten support in PM with suggestions to let it go, that these woman I am arguing with are off the wall and appreciate that. I do think that I have learned that some women can be far nastier and meaner than the worst guys I have seen on some boards. On most guy boards, when guys go on the attack, it is all in a good natured, fun sort of way and you know that if you could meet you could have a beer together. Some of the women here truly do appear to be vicious to their cores. Oh well. I suppsoe this post will be deleted by the unevenhanded moderators who will allow the vicious woman posts to stand. But I guess that's the way it goes.
