406. Laughing so hard with someone that you both can't breathe, and then you try to calm down, but uncontrollably start laughing all over again until your belly aches and you almost pee in your pants.

421. Having my pastor tell me that the way I have handled my illness is an inspiration to my congregation (though I really have a hard time believing it).
422. Coming here when I'm struggling or having a bad day and stumbling onto a thread like this one that lifts my spirits!

434- Watching my teenagers turn into young responsible adults.
435- Seeing my first nephew born last week and being here to see him grow into a little person.

437- A Husband that is military, gets up at 4:30, drives 30 min. to work, works all day, then goes to school at night so he will have a degree when he retires in 3 years and still makes time to talk to me and the kids about our days. I love that man of mine!!
438- Praying for the people I care for that take care of me. What a big emotional job...lol.

I just found this thread and let me tell you it made me so happy! I am going to have to think for awhile and come back w/ my list of favorite things. One thing I can think of now? Mashed potatoes! (It is supper time! Can you tell?)

Hugs from my border collie. She actually stands on her hind legs and put her paws around your waist. Hugs from my sheltie; he's short, so he puts his little chin on my let and leans into me. So sweet!

452. Being able to be around my 1 1/2 yr old and 5 year old grandsons a week after a bilat. They bring such joy and I don't have to worry about them bothering the drains. I think th youngest figured something was different because his first reaction was to come give me a big, gentle hug and he hasn't asked to be picked up. Once I explained to the older that I can't pick him up yet he gives me really big smiles for the kisses we share.
453. Having my scriptures to read every day. I took a suggestion and put them on cards. Read them before surgery, after in the hospital and now during recovery. I see something new in them every day. -

457.The movie "THE WEDDING DATE" saw it last night.

Having my sons say "Can I get you something?"...hearing the doorbell and opening it to find no one there but a bouquet of flowers left from neighbors...getting emails from people I didn't even know well who have added me to their prayer chain...having my son's friends ask for Lance Armstrong yellow bracelets and the pink B/C bracelets for a show of support at their high school.

Driving my Mustang convertible, in February, with the top down and the heat blasting
Making a hotel reservation for the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta with a group of girlfriends
Cuddling with my DH before going to sleep
Seeing the patch of earth where 200 daffodil bulbs are just waiting for the right moment to burst forth
Going to see the Westminster Dog Show on Tuesday, one more thing on my list of "Always wanted to do"

Watching the cats and dog watch the squirrels -
