I'll be there:-) I walked in '06, then took last year off to learn to ride my motorcycle. Looking forward to going back this year as it was such a life-changing experience.

I will be there as a volunteer not a walker. This will be my 3rd year. First year, I was a "tent angel"...put up the tents for the walkers. Last year, I registered the walkers. I will be doing the same thing this year, hope I get to register you...I will think of something to wear that day so you can come to my line!!!
Hugs and prayers,
Candie

kardud,
Sorry, but your comment seems like spam. You joined bco 7 minutes ago, and in that time have posted 6 identical comments that refer readers to a commercial website.

I'm registered also. It will be my first walk. I'm afraid I'll be overcome with emotion the whole time and will cry for 2 days straight!

Joni, Jeannette, Donna...
How are you doing? Are you ready to walk? ....less than 2 months away!
I've been walking a couple of miles a day and will try to get a couple of long distance walks in before Oct.
Candie, let us know what you'll be doing so we can look for you.

ok girls, I will be registering you great people who will be walking. I will be sitting at a computer. I will be at the Sheraton from morning til night on Friday. I am making myself a tag to wear that will say ....Candie / bc.org.......look for me as I would love to meet as many as I can from this great site. Good luck to you all, no matter what you are doing for the walk. Maybe one day I will walk too.
Hugs and prayers,

Candie,
I will definitely look for you. I'm really excited about going. It is such a wonderful experience. I'm also looking forward to some cooler weather. As you can see, I'm from Florida so training in the heat (and between/around tropical storms) has been a challenge but one that is certainly worth it. Just no rain, okay?
Pegk,
I've following the Prevention 12 week training program. I had started the 24 week but had to take time off due to proph mast. Last Saturday I walked 22 miles and 10 on Sunday. The weekend before that was 20 and 9. I have the blisters to show for it:-) However, I think I'm ready. I'm not the fasted walker out there but I'm consistent.
I'm planning on wearing a black hat with my name and city (Cocoa, FL) on it so look for me ladies.

Jeanette,
I will be looking for u. Good luck on the walk!!
-
Candie, I will look for you at the check in area!
Jeanette, I will look for your black Cocoa Beach hat!
I have no idea what I will be wearing. But I have been told by zillions of people that I look like Jamie Lee Curtis - in fact I'm a school counselor and I just started a new job. A bunch of students saw me on my first day and wanted to make an announcement that the actress from "Freaky Friday" was signing autographs in the counseling office. Cracked me right up. So anyway if you see a chick who looks like JLC who does not have gray hair, it might be me!
Can't wait to see you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
