It is my THIRD year cancerversary !!!!! Dancing with NED!
I couldn't sleep after being in bed all day sick. I'm up fixing wheat pasta and noticed it was the 26TH!!!!!!!! Michael is taking me out tonight for a celebration. I'm so HAPPY, and grateful. I never thought I would have gotten through all that I have been through and come out okay on the other side.

Congratulations, MaryLou!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Thanks Ody, the picture didn't show up

I just learned something, if you post a picture and it looks to big, just click the picture till you see those little squares.
Then drag the squares till the picture is smaller.
You may want to preview the post first. Then you can tell if the picture stretches the screen.
Then click submit.
Hope this helps, now I don't have to re-size in photo-bucket.
-
Sending some loving your way. Have a great weekend.

Mary-Lou,
Could you let me know the link where you got the 'gentle hugs' and 'happy dancing' avators?
They are so inspirational.

Hi ladies!!!
Today, I celebrate my 3 year cancer-versary! I had my cancer check-up at U of C, and in honor of the day, I wore Margerie's "Forget the pink ribbons, CURE this b*tch already" Felicia t-shirt! I got a lot of quizzical looks, which was pretty funny. It's hard to believe how far we have come in this crappy journey, and I talk about you all as though I have known you for a lifetime. I've at least known you in my breast cancer life!
I sure do love you, my dear sisters. Thank you for getting me through. Love and prayers, Deb

I LOVE you guys.
We lost our camera. AGAIN. Grrrr......I am worried I left it in my Dad's house when I was taking pictures of it (it is being sold). It had a bazillion pictures on it. Grr....

Jeez.....here we go with breastcancerawarenessmonth again. I know it's all very very good, but it sure does feel painful, esp. when drug companies take advantage and run those ever so slightly erroneous ads.
Take a deep breath....
-
Anna,
I am right there with you on all the pink. It should be termed profit ribbon month....
anyway, we are having quite a bit of fun making fun of the pinkwash on this thread- should be good for a few laughs for ya

I just got back from seeing my mom. She wasn't bouncing back from her surgery. I finally MADE her go to the ER on Sunday because of chest pains (I was on the road to see her, called my DH and told him to call her and get her to go since she wasn't listening to me and I don't know what he said, but she went right over....) I got there just in time to see them draw 2 liters of fluid out of her right lung. She feels much better (duh) but is still weak. They may delay chemo another week...luckily the fluid was all benign, but they made us wait over 2 days for the pathology

Oh Margerie - I hate your mom has to travel this journey. Hugs to you my friend.
-
Margerie-any updates on Mom? I'm so glad she went to get checked out-this is no time for pride!
ML-We determined my camera wasn't left at my Dad's house (Greg finally remembered using it on his b-day), but now we are wondering if the guys who refinished our floors "took" it. We've narrowed it down to having it in our sight on Friday, and realizing it was gone on Monday. The floor guys were here on Monday.
What do we do? Like we'd call and say, "Did you guys take our camera?" and they'd be like, "Oh, yeah. Sorry."

Yes, ML and Odalys,
Please post a list of all these cool graphics generators you have found!!
I'll share the best ecard sight I have found. The cards are hysterical...
I sent a friend the farting fairy card for her 6 year cancerversary.
Mom is doing better. Some nausea problems and then the lung is still an issue. I guess it will take some time to heal. She starts chemo on Wednesday. We are hoping it isn't too harsh on her........ My sis's and I got her house cleaned up some, got her a heated blanket and nice microfiber sheets (their house is always cold) and some gatorade, broth, medications, creams, hats, a wig, slippers, gingerale, etc.
There is a 10 day free trial and it is $20 a year for unlimited cards.

Ody ~ That took the cake! I loved it...... we need to spice this place up a bit.
I'm so glad your mom has you Margerie, you already know the ropes. I will be thinking of her on Wednesday.
Anna, you can find all kinds of stuff on photobucket.com I would start there and learn what you can.
Here is what you do, do a search, or use your own pictures. Look for the HTML code and click to copy. Then come back and click the icon that looks like
<------this.
It is so easy once you learn, really takes no skill. If it did I wouldn't have a clue.
I will leave you all with a little something, for our beautiful Sunday.
This is also perfect for Lifes a Beach thread......
