Swollen body

Hi ladies does anyone have a suggestion I am taking a duretic and I am still swollen looking and most of my clothes dont fit I know I am swollen in my legs face etc I stopped chemo and will go to radiation next week but I would love to get rid of some of this water wieght and wieght period am I the only one with this or is it common? Thanks for any help I use to have a waiste for a 56 year old I use to look good now I dont even like to look in the mirror at this puffy face lady...

    Hi honey, you need to see your oncologist NOW.  With this symptom, he will listen to you and help you.  You are well on the way to being done with treatment, and this is not something to just "live with".  So go see him and show him what you are talking about.

    This is what they do, and most oncs are very kind with problems like this.

    I agree with Shirlann you need to contact your onc and make an appointment ot discuss this issue.  He should be able to help you get to the root of the problem which could be many thing.  Let us know how things turn out we care.

    I did call the doctor and thanks for the advise I am on a stronger duretic doing fne ecept my potisuim is too low so that is a headache but I am working on it with Pot. pills dont let anyone tell you its over when the chemo is done I dont think its ever over its a long road....and I am driving slow on it....ha
