Maryiz,
I think we need to get it listed on some other threads to direct people here. Maybe some of the really active threads. I'll post something on the chemo thread and see if we can get some activity.

I'm in and will spread the news to my church to have everyone praying on Nov 1 for a cure.

Count me in also, they are some good ideals on here.

I'm in too. What about 12noon and 12 midnight EST? that would allow everybody to have at least one time slot. Also, could we do this every day, for the entire month? And then of course top it off on Nov 1st with an all day prayer?
I'll send the request to everybody I know.
-
Thanks LumiPogo, you are always there to offer support and prayers. Maryiz

Wow...what a wonderful idea! This is great...count me in! I think though that it might be better to designate the entire day for praying for breast cancer, instead of having a specific time. I know, for me, I would probably forget the exact time, and then feel badly afterwards that I "missed" it. But, that is just my 2 cents...might not be worth much...LOL. Is there another thread about this, with the prayer in it? Way to go girls....this will be such a powerful prayer, and I am so glad you thought of it.

Bump, Maryiz

Count me in. So it's Nov 1st at noon?

Candie1971, We are all praying on Nov 1st, some have suggested praying any time throughout that day. Some are setting aside noon, not sure if that's eastern time or what, but encouraging everyone to pray that day for a cure. Email to your friends. Strength in numbers, thanks for joining us, Maryiz

I have been praying every day since the beginning of Oct, and will continue to do so, it can't hurt. For Nov 1st, I was thinking to pray every hour, on the hour. I don't have an elaborate prayer though, I just speak from the heart. If anyone can come up with a common prayer for all of us, I'd be happy to oblige. God bless you all!
-
LumiPojo, thanks for all of your praying. A very well-known priest, you may know him, he is from Mass., his name is Father Ralph Diorio. I read one of his books. He says the best prayer is prayer from the heart. He says God gave us good minds, so he feels we should use them when we pray. He is also a healer. I am sure you have heard of him. Thanks for all of your support. Maryiz

There is a great cyber candle site:
www.gratefulness.org
One L, two S. You can put a short message and the candle burns for 48 hours.
God Bless, Nancy

Anyone interested in a universal prayer day, it is November 1, 2008, which is All Saints Day. If you don't believe in prayer, maybe you could pray for someone who does. I don't want to step on anyone's toes, but join us, please, if you are interested. Maryiz
