Hi from Montana - Rainy all day and temps in the 60's during the day and high 30's at night.
-
Chicago is having an early Fall, but the days have been lovely.
Sending out hugs to anyone who is in the path of Hurricane Ike.

Last 2 days are like sept. 3 nights ago we had a frost scare! Oh my! I think I had 20 sheets and fabric pieces adorning our yard by midnight! Phew! Missed us at least!
Today it's 69, very muggy and trying to rain. Was great last night, except the hot flashes increase the room temp by about 20 degrees! UGH!
Personally, I hate that winter is around the corner b/c of the plants, but am looking forward to cooling the bedroom without A/C!
-
In NC Foothills, rain off and on for the past 3 days and cooler temps but tomorrow and Sunday temps back up close to 90 and smaller chance of rain. We are out of the drought conditions - YEA!!!

Acloudy day here today...will have light rain showers at times. Saying it is going to be a light rainy weekend. Monday we will have rain form Ike.
Hope everyone in the path of IKE stays safe!
-
I haven't been here for a while, but its raining here in SE Pennsylvania.
-
Very windy and starting to rain some here in Houston. We are in the path of Ike coming down from Galveston. Bunkering down for the duration and praying that everyone in his path stays safe!
Will keep you all in my prayers!
-
Goodness Im watching hurricane Ike on the news right now. This is going to be one terrible storm and I praying for anyone who is in its path. Im watching the surge right now in Galveston and its pretty darn scary.

We have officially broken the record for the most rainfall in 24 hours here in Illinois. 6.7 inches and its still raining today. Ike decided to team up with a storm that was already upon us. Lots of flooding here.
Who would have thought that Chicago was at risk for a tropical depression?

It's getting colder here, it's starting to smell like fall weather! And U know what comes right after fall!
Early in the AM it's about low 50s, and by the end of the day it is only about 65/70. I am starting to look into my in between seasons clothes already... the kind that you wear in the AM and by PM you are hot as heck and vice versa!
Ladies and gentlemen in TX, I have been thinking of you, especially all the ones affected by IKE. Hope you are all safe.
-
Safe here from Ike! No power and was told yesterday may be 3 more weeks in my area with out power. We also had several tornados here, so things are pretty messed up with damaged houses and down power lines everywhere. We did get a generator, so I hook up to it several times a day to get online! Just trying to keep positive here, but very tired and hurting. (((((((((((((hugs to all))))))))))))
-
Oh, emath, hope you get power before that. Praying all will be ok. Hang in there.
The weather here in ok is cool and sunshine.
-
Hello everyone!
Just saw some more pictures of IKE's destruction... OMG! emath and all TX people affected: ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Hugging you)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) - Anything we can do?
New England is already getting the taste of the fall season; low 40s last night, early this AM upper 40s and during the day we are going to only get in the 60s... same for the weekend, which I am okay w/ that b/c of Jade's soccer games.
This AM the heater was certainly cranked up in my car and I even thought that I should have worn a pair of gloves... yeah... I freeze that easily!
Good day/weekend weather to you all.
-
Here in the northern foothills of NC we had lows this morning in the upper 50's and highs expected in the upper 70's, good taste of fall in the air. No rain for several days, not quite out of water restrictions yet but looking better than last year.

Sunny and 70's in Chicago
-
Well, well, rain it's on the forecast for tonight, tomorrow and Sat.! Yuppy!!!!! NOT!
It's been on the colder side... in the AM, mid 40s, lots of humidity and the warmer jackets are out; lots of trees are already changing its colors... beautiful though.
-
Naughty and Spar thanks for your hugs! Here it is the 25th and we still don't have power where I am at. I hook up the ole laptop to the generator a few times a day! We are to have cooler nights starting tonight, which will make sleeping (or try to) a little better. The weather in Tx is so hot and humid! Just hanging in there, sometimes I close my eyes and imagine that it is snowing and everything is white. Last night I thought I felt a coldness on my face and then I opened my eyes and it was the dog breathing on my and it was hot not cold.
They are hoping to have our power on by Monday of next week. I pray they do. (((((((((((((((hugs to all))))))))))))))))))))
-
Hello Ellen/emath: ... the dog breathing on you... LOL
I really hope that you guys get power soon... so sorry you are in this situation. I have you all in my thoughts and good wishes list.
Today here MA/CT is triple YUCKY!!!!!!!! After 2/3 weeks w/o any raining... it's raining cats and dogs today, same for tomorrow and Sunday... I guess the BIG E fair in Springfield, MA w/ suffer!
At least, it's in the 60s.
Good weekend weather and health to all of you.
-
Here in the foothills of NC we are getting winds and showers from the system blowing off the Atlantic. It is a windy, cold, wet, dreary, stay inside kind of day.
Sheila
-
Sunny beautiful Fall day here in Illinois. The trees are beginning to change colors and some are already losing leaves.
Nicki
-
West side of San Antonio Tx. about 30 miles away. Been sunny & warm. Didn't get anything from IKE. See rain off & on around our house. NOT LOOKING FOR THE COLD WEATHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but love watching the leaves turn color.
-
After a few days of a California fall (60's and breezy) here in Silicon Valley we're having record breaking highs - it was 88 today. I hate the heat, and that is from a California girl through and through!!
-
Supposed to be another beautiful Fall day here in Chicago - but as I look out my window I see clouds. Wont mind too much if it rains, cause I have to work today and would be upset if I missed a beautiful day filled with sunshine.
I too love Autumn and the changing colors. Just dont like Winter.

Here in lower northern Israel...we've been promised rain and you can feel it wanting to come but..alas...none. Well... none in our village but yesterday it poured only 10 minutes from here. We have rain predicted through the beginning of next week. I wanna see it. We've had no rain since last May. it's hot and humid here. Just waiting for rain...temps will get lower if it rains. -
The rain held off until today. Started raining about 11:00 am. It is a cold rain and steady. Not complaining though, we are still in some drought conditions but not as bad as last year.
-
