Dear Lord, Please be with our circle. Surround it with your love and care. Father, especially be with DebC from Alaska and slonedeb. They have been through so much and their courage is inspiring. Right now I lift up slone deb to you Father. Please ease her pain and help her to eat and rest. She is fighting so hard and it frightens and hurts us. Please just let her know how much she is loved and how close you are. Wrap your loving arms around her. Be with her family. Draw them close to you God. Hear our prayers and theirs.
And Father, DebC has also been through so much. Brain surgery is no big thing. Just allow her to rest and heal and grant her vision back. Be with her family and help them surround her and comfort and encourage her.
Hear our prayers for it is in your Son's name we pray. Amen
-
Beautiful as always, Pam.
Amen.
Valerie

{{{Valerie}}} hugs and prayers to you, sis! Pam

Sending prayers to all of you. {{{Deb}}} {{{Slonedeb}}} and all my wonderful sisters.
I am also adding prayers for all those in the path of Hurricane Ike. We are not over the effects of Hurricane Gustav and are now awaiting tropical storm winds.
Dear Lord,
Please protect all in the path of Hurricane Ike, protect life and property. We trust in you and ask you to wrap your loving arms around us all.
We ask this in Jesus' name,
Amen
-
Jumping in with a giant "Amen".........................please stay as safe as possible my Hurricane Sisters................

Just Checking IN!!!
Still very busy, involved in settling Mother's Estate and also have been dog sitting for two weeks for my pastor while he and his wife were on mission trip to Guyana.
Deb Slone....I think of you and pray for you daily. Like the song "Farther Along" we can't help but wonder, but it will all be revealed to us some day. Our ways and thinking are not like the Lord's.
What a warrior you have been and are. Such an inspiration to me and to other's as well. I am going to pm you my phone number and if and when you feel up to it call me for a sec and then I will call you right back on my nickel.
Pam...your conversation with God is so beautiful, simple and heart felt. Thank you and God Bless You my sister.
Deb C...I pray that things get easier and better for you. You are another one that sure inspires the rest of us. It sure makes me feel helpless, I so wish I could do something to help both you and Deb Slone.
The rest of you dear ladies....so good to see posts from you and know that you are just a log-in away. I appreciate all of you deeply.

Jankay - I thought of your sisters when Ike went into Beaumont. I haven't heard from friends there either. I'm keeping them all in my thoughts and prayers. I'm sure they are all okay but without power as so many are.

If you need a good laugh, try reading through these children's science exam answers. My personal favourite is the last one!!... And, the explanation of a fibula is profound.
Q: Name the four seasons.
A: Salt, pepper, mustard and vinegar.
Q: Explain one of the processes by which water can be made safe to drink
A: Flirtation makes water safe to drink because it removes large pollutants like grit, sand, dead sheep and canoeists.
Q: How is dew formed?
A: The sun shines down on the leaves and makes them perspire.
Q: How can you delay milk turning sour? (brilliant, love this!)
A: Keep it in the cow.
Q: What causes the tides in the oceans?
A: The tides are a fight between the Earth and the Moon. All water tends to flow towards the moon, because there is no water on the moon, and nature hates a vacuum. I forget where the sun joins in this fight.
Q: What are steroids?
A: Things for keeping carpets still on the stairs.
Q: What happens to your body as you age?
A: When you get old, so do your bowels and you get intercontinental.
Q: What happens to a boy when he reaches puberty?
A: He says good-bye to his boyhood and looks forward to his adultery.
Q: Name a major disease associated with cigarettes.
A: Premature death.
Q: How are the main parts of the body categorized? (e.g., abdomen)
A: The body is consisted into three parts -- the brainium, the borax and the abdominal cavity. The brainium contains the brain; the borax contains the heart and lungs, and the abdominal cavity contains the five bowels A, E, I, O, and U.
Q: What is the fibula?
A: A small lie.
Q: What does "varicose" mean? (I do love this one...)
A: Nearby.
