Hi everyone..I really missed seeing you...we are still in
NY...be back next Thursday...
-
Oh what a beautiful pix! WOW, you need to sell these, Liz, they are gorgeous. Take them to SeaPort Village and leave them, beautifully framed, on consignment. What an idea!
Hi Brenda, I haven't heard over the years much on the BC to Leukemia trail, but we had several women a few years ago who had BC after Leukemia as a child. Go figure. Sometimes I think we know so little.

It is September girls. Anyone have a clue when we should meet? I know I can't do the 14th. Any other Sunday is fine. Count me out for the Saturday's though. With the cost of gas, babysitter and lunch it just won't happen. I won't mind if you all get together without me you know. Whatever works for the majority.
-
I'm probably out of any September date - I'm back in Florida. Ducking hurricanes. I still don't understand why anyone lives here voluntarilily ..
susan
-
Susan-Sorry to hear you had to travel east again. I hope it is not to stressful for you. Stay safe.
-
Brenda, I can come any Sunday in September, so count me in, and no one is expecting me to pick them up at the airport!
Hugs, Shirl
-
Lisa SDCA..any ideas of places to eat near you??
-
I liked the day we were at BJ's in la Jolla, mainly because the table let us talk better, the curved table. But I will go anywhere. No problem.
Hugs, Shirlann
-
My Sundays are open - I hope to catch up with everyone this month ;-)
Lisa #3
-
OK how about Sunday the 21st..??
-
My Sundays are flexible and my Saturdays (except this one) are cool, too. Now that the crowds are gone, maybe we could consider going into the beach areas.
I'd like to see Melia again some month.
Lisa
-
How about a Saturday for next month and let Melia choose it!!
Any ideas LisaSDCA??
Beaches are good, how about Adams Ave??
-
The 21st works for me.
-
Hi dear friends, I am good with the 21st. Liz, if you want to stop by, I will drive, and I will meet you over by the Coffee Bean? Let me know. Hugs, Shirl
-
Hello all--Sun the 21st works for me too! I'll ask Gretchen to join us.
Sylvia
-
Sylvia-Do you want to carpool again?
-
sure!
-
Okay, okay, the 21st it is. NOW, where????
hahahaha, hugs, Shirlann
-
Oh, Shirlann, you would want to know that wouldn't you....lol
Let's vote...
BJs in La Jolla?
or
Chevy's in Del Mar?
-
One vote for Chevy's in Del Mar
-
Chevy's gets my vote. Carmel Mountain or Del Mar works.
-
Chevy's in Del Mar works for me, too.
Lisa
-
OK that sounds like a plan
Now the time..
-
ARGGGH, let's meet at Chevy's in Del Mar, at 1:00pm for the girls that go to church? Sound good, oh, on the 21st? I will be there unless we change. Liz, you want to ride with me?
Hugs, Shirlann
-
I will try to be there - I hope to fly home on Thursday.
I'd vote for BJs, but since I'm not entirely certain I can make it, then it wouldn't be fair. Shirlann - we are out numberd!
-
Chevy's Del Mar 1:00. I shall be there.
Silvia-Shall I meet you are your house at 12:00ish?
-
Susan - that's great that you ought to be back in town. And if Lisa#3 and Gretchen can make it, too, that ought to be at least, what - eight of us? Cool!
BTW - fair warning: I finally broke down and got my hair highlighted back to the way it was pre-chemo. This is good. I also got it cut. I think his idea was to get rid of the chemo curls while we got rid of all that dark hair. So, it's uhm - short. I look like I did about 6 months out of chemo, not 14mo.
Two people recognized me at church on Sunday who hadn't spoken to me since tx. I don't think they knew who that dark-haired woman was. But now that my hair looks like my hair and looks like I've got a chemo-type cut I guess it connected.
Lisa
-
Shirl..I don't mind driving..how about we do the usual and I will pick you up at 12:30
and give you a call when I get to the parking lot??
-
Hi Brenda, which off road for Chevy's Del Mar from 5? And then West or East? hahaha
I have only lived in this county 67 years!
Hugs, Shirl
-
Lisa--I'd recognize that pretty smile anywhere---so you are a blonde heh---mine is more blonde than ever and they tell me it is because my hair is different without thr hormones---?? Anyway--what about bdrider,kato-- and all those other gals that have posted about getting connected?
