Is your skin dry?

The skin on my face feels like it could crack into a thousand pieces. I have been using moisturizer, but it still feels and looks terrible. Does chemo cause that too?

I went through that with chemo and not much helped I started using lubridrum on my face and scalp.  Chemo aged me 10 years I think.

I am just on EC tx #3 but my face has been terribly dry since the beginning.  To the point that rubbing it would make it slightly peel.  I read somewhere to use a toner without alcohol and I found one by Loreal..called Hydrafresh.  I have been using it every night and then applying Oil of Olay for sensitive skin.  I have only done this for about 3 or 4 days and I can tell a BIG difference.  My makeup even looks better when I put it on.  It has done wonders for my face in such a short period of time.  Maybe this will help you too.

I'm using plain Nivea cream day and night, and in the middle of the night when I'm on the dex! Goes on the face AND head!  Cheap and brilliant.

I use a product on my hands and lower legs (alligator shins!) that I make myself. That's good too (but it's top secret..I'm going to sell it)  Happy to send free samples :)  XX  Kerry

Well, it is good to know that this is actually normal. I pray this is not a permanent thing, that when chemo is over and my body is healing from it all that it will go back.
