4 years w. NED
I was going to write a long mushy post about these last four years, and what all of you mean to me, but instead, I went shopping for shoes.
And that, sums up my four year cancerversary. Cancer doesn't have me. It stopped having me a while ago. Yes, I have cancer in my career, and I deal with cancer in my volunteer work, and of course, we talk a lot of cancer around here, but the beast no longer consumes my thoughts, or controls my mind.
My hair is as long as it was on this day four years ago.
I never think of my old breasts. I couldn't remember them if I tried. I see myself in the mirror, and the scars are almost gone, my breasts look like they were always a part of me, and the twinkle in my eyes, and the sparkle in my smile are just the way they always were.
In one week I am going to celebrate my engagement with over 100 family and friends, to the most incredible guy in the world. He loves me just the way I am.
Thanks to you guys, for loving me just the way I am, too....

Yup, we love you and look forward to supporting you and you supporting us for years to come. I agree with Lisa, you do it with STYLE girl!

What does DF think of you and this NED fellow???
Beth, you are a shining example of making lemonade out of those ole lemons. In years to come, you probably won't even notice the anniversary as it comes and goes. Live well.
