For everyone who lives on the coastal areas that may be affected...you are in my thoughts and prayers. I live on the upper Texas Gulf Coast and am preparing today, boarding putting all the supplies in one place etc. It looks as though this Hurricane is going to be a booger!

I'll be thinking of you all and hoping you all come out of this safely, as well as your families and homes. But remember how many bad predictions we've had in the past and then the hurricane by-passed land. Sure hope it does this time!

I've been watching the tv coverage all day and feeling so sad for everyone involved.

I have family in Texas...Brothers and Mother in San Antonio. The one I'm worried about is my cousin who lives in Orange, Texas...right on the Louisana border.

Paulette, I'm thinking about you too. We live on the East Coast...Wrightsville Beach. It'll be interesting to see what Hanna, the tropical storm, does. She could head up our way...too soon to tell. Also, too soon to predict if she'll become a hurricane or if Gustav will have so much power that he'll make her "break apart."
