When do you take Arimidex? - morning or night?
I started Arimidex in May and take it in the mornings with the other hand full of pills I have to take....mostly vitamins, blood pressure meds, etc., however, a few times I've had to vomit the instant the mediciation hit my tummy. I always take it AFTER I've eaten too. Any suggestions? Thanks girls!!

I take mine in the morning with my other pills. That way I don't forget..
So far I've had no problems...

It's only hit me three times----all of a sudden----then it's over! I was at church when it hit this morning. aarrrggghhh I'm thinking it has to be the Arimidex, as that's the only new thiing I've started taking the last few months.??

I suspected the Arimidex was causing my insomnia, so I switched from bedtime to morning. I also have to take my thyroid medication an hour before I eat. So I put out both pills in a little cup in the bathroom with a glass of water. I ALWAYS have to get up to pee around 5ish- so I take both pills then go back to bed for an hour. I have never had a problem with an upset tummy.
Maybe it is some combination that is causing your tummy revolt! Maybe switch something around to see if that helps. Yuck- nausea!

Thanks Margerie for your recommendation. I've taken them all different ways, and it seems like they stay down better when I have something on my tummy. I sure don't want any more insomnia!! I might can switch some of the others around too. Things like B-12, Multivitamin, Calcium +VD. Thanks for your input. Have a great evening!

I take mine after dinner and I haven't had a problem.

Right before bed with 0.25mg ativan for sleep. Haven't had any problems except waking up with stiff, sore joints, but that would happen anyway, right?

Just before bed here, with a full glass of water...well, 8 oz about. Np with it!
