Just popping in to say "It Just SUCKS!! All OF it!!"
I gotta run... work today... ALL DAY!! I can't keep this up!!
But, before I go, I just wanted to let Deb C know that I am so happy to see you posting, I also just read up on your GREAT NEWS!!! YAY!!! Glad to see you posting!! Your posts always bring a smile to my face!!
Bye... I'll try to post more later... If I don't collapse from being so tired at the end of the day!! It's raining here, so I guess it will be busy at the store!Harley

-
Rock....change you're name, and stay.
We are going to miss your crazy postings....have a lovely holiday, and just you reincarnate yourself... y'hear???
Isabella. -
Rock, that sucks. I know someone else on BCO had to change her membername here when a cousin of hers saw some venting and "told" on her to the offending relative... oy gevalt!!!
DebC - I can't imagine that ALL closets have floors -- even MINE? LOL!
Take care, all!
-
Rock: Ditto what Isabella said...change your name. We won't out you. Stay!
Hanna: Ironic that you'd quote the cowardly lion....I find myself singing "If I only had a brain" several times a day.
Deb C: Very happy to see you are back and posting. It seems like your new chemo regimen is kicking butt and you'll shortly be back to single vision and no nausea. I had no idea closets had floors either. Amazing the things we learn on this board.
Harley: Try to enjoy your day. Sorry you're so tired at the end of everything...work sucks...if you could, please send your rain up our way.
-
gsg, you are hilarious.
Blue, I just love it when you post so I can stare at your avatar.....that was funny 'bout depends. There are some real comedians on here!!
Rock, don't know if you noticed or not but, my original post was edited a few weeks later....I had some other bitches in that first post that were read by the person I was bitching about. oops.
Don't go. We are your friends too!!!! Please.
Traci

Rock,
Here's an idea - change your name then PM everyone that you want to know your new name and there you are. You're still here with your friends. We'll know who you are but no one else will.
STAY!!!!!!
I don't post much but I get so much out of everyone here that I would hate to lose you.
Hugs,
Trish
-
Well, it's decided then. Rock stays.
p.s. Thanks, Traci...my husband would beg to differ, though. LOL.
-
Editing, cuz I guess I was too mysterious!
Rock, don't go!
Maybe an anagram of your name?
[See http://wordsmith.org/anagram/index.html
a site that generates anagrams]Your former name could be rearranged as "Thread Block" or "Black Redhot" or "Herb Talk Doc"... or a bunch of combinations that included the word "Drab" ...but "Drab" would make it awfully hard to recognize our pole-dancing, oink-instructing friend!

Hi Harley44,
One year before BC, I had a total hysterectomy and then after a bilateral mastectomy I wonder what I am...no female parts!
Just call me an IT.
-
I think she should call herself NotRock so I can remember it's her.
-
-
EGAL: Well, you got rid of your malfunctioning parts so I think what you are now is new and improved!
-
I know, Rock can have my name! That will really confuse her friends! And any of my family/friends who stalk me on here. Though they will probably wonder where I got that great sense of humor!
-
Hi All,
Rock, I hate to see you cut back. You are a different kind of gal and I like that.
Shoes, shoes, shoes, I love shoes. But no designer heels for me. I stay in flats. I just bought a pair of black patent leather driving mocs and love them!
PSK07, do you live in France or just where you can go to a french bakery? I am so jealous. I love pastries too!. And chocolate and handbags although I only have 3 that I really like. Some I like to look at but aren't comfortable to carry.
Well, I have my surgery scheduled for my implants-September 22, 2008! I cannot wait. These expanders now feel like an iron band around my chest and I can feel that it is even rusting. We looked at pix of my old boobs and he said he can try to get me back to my old size or maybe in 2 years move up to bigger boobs. No more surgeries. I have to get a colonscopy in November and that is it for a long time....I hope. No more surgeries, procedures, tests, drugs, the whole thing.
My dog goes arf, arf....like orphan annie's dog. My cat goes oooooowwwwww without the M. I can tell each cat by the feel of their tail and their meow. Except for Petey who never meows. Of course they all sound the same when they are barfing up a hairball.
Well, time for my nap....always so tired from the PS visit and the 130 mile roundtrip at 6:00 in the am.

Hi to everyone and a big IOS to all that need it.
Alaskadeb - glad to see you posting. Wishing you great success w/ your treatments.
Rock - Agree with all, that you should change your name and stay.
The closet pic was great. My closet is so dark, I can hardly find my anything, let alone shoes. I have asked for a light in there for over 7 yrs. Guess what, it will probably be another 7 before it happens.
Gotta run, going to my stepdaughters college this weekend and will try and catch up on Tuesday.
I hope everyone has a weekend of no IOS.

I think rock should use the old code we used as kids, I think it was pig latin so she would be "ockr". By using pig latin that would fit right in with the oinking class! LOL Seriously I know many on the mets board that have that problem, one was actually her husbands exwife watching. I guess she was hoping this person would get very ill and put her ex up for grabs because she may have wanted him back. People are very strange. Just change your name and them you can PM your close friends, the rest of us will pick up on who you are over time.
Ok, what is is with doctors nurses that won't let you speak to the doc??? My onc ran some extra blood tests because it seems I may be having problems with my kidneys from my tx and also I have become anemic. Nice thing to happen and I am not even on chemo. This scares me because when I need chemo this could cause problems. Well the blood work have numbers out of whact and she informs me that she mentioned them to the onc and he said not to worry that they don't mean anything. Now why run them if they are meaningless? When I pressed her with questions to try and get my onc to return my call she really just shut me down. I do think he will be getting an earful in two more weeks when I see him again. The day he becomes unavailable to talk with his patients is the day I look for a new onc!
I can't begin to comment on all the posts but I have been laughing pretty hard. Things have gone from extremes of oinking to births of sea flowers.....where else can someone who has been dealt a sh*&^y hand of cards laugh so hard????

Rock--I agree with all those calling for a reincarnation after your road trip....We need you: your humor, your compassion, your experience, your honesty!
But, by the same token, I know that when you told us about the first 'friend' who'd let you know they'd been reading your posts here, I had one of those 'not-so-fresh-moments'.....eeeewwwwww, someone reading your diary!! Now there's more....eeeeewwwww!!!!! I know if it ever happens to me I'll want to go away, too. I know it no longer feels safe for you here. This majorly SUCKS!!! And what sucks the most is that they are probably really decent people who love you and had no idea how they were violating you. Heavy sigh...........
I'm going to have to start taking notes when I have to read more than one page,,,can't remember all the IOS' to comment on, so I'll just close with a big "that sucks" to all with IOS's and wish all a suck-free weekend!
Blessings,
Sherri

Hey all,
So much suckiness.....so much laughter, and love. I love being here. I agree, Rock, those friends don't realize what they are taking from you..the freedom to share your feelings among a group of people who are going through the same difficult experience you are. I hate it for you, and for us. But you should reincarnate!! (Hey, if anybody can do it, you can!)
My suckage--don't have any! I got clean CT and bone scans this week (my onc does them post-chemo--love that woman!) and had an echocardiogram today. The tech said "Don't tell them I told you, but your heart looks beautiful." So, I am going with the idea that chemo didn't damage my heart. I feel like me again, ya know?
Love all you guys!
Sue

Free Spirit,
WOW~
Now I need a medic...my heart is pounding and it's NOT from the chemo or any other stuff we had to deal with!
