Sorry about your grandson, Spar. Sometimes nice kids make bad choices and it's so tough for those who love them. My thoughts are with you, your son and grandson and hoping that he'll come around soon.
Someone on the previous page asked me to post whether I liked The Shack or not... (Now I'm forgetting who)...so far I'm really enjoying it. A friend gave it to me and she said it's powerful.
True; I'm doing some work at home in the morning (no, not cleaning) and then going to my mom's and she and I are going swimming in the afternoon and then probably out to dinner.

Is your mom in good physical shape. It must be nice to have a good relationship with your mom. I try but my mother is pretty self centered and everything is always about her. She is 73 going on 13. She thinks she is love with a man 30 years younger and married. Sometimes I think she has lost her mind.

Spar: My mom is 76 and has no medical issues...doesn't take one pill. My husband was over there working in her yard yesterday and had trouble keeping up with her. At one point he heard her say, stand back, as she was getting ready to swing a pickax. We both need to lose weight though. Is it okay if I laugh about your mom being in love with someone 30 years younger and married? The way you wrote it, I don't know, I burst out laughing. LOL.
Red: I've read parts of The Secret and I liked what I read. Lately I've been in the habit of just reading parts of things.

Did have several boyfriends in highschool, some were bad boys, some were really nice. I married a nice one at 18 and in his 20's he turned really bad so divorced but got 2 great kids out of the deal.
Foots, I would love for you to post some of your poetry, my 13 year old mother writes poems also. The last one she wanted me to read was a page long love poem and I said well, who is this to, like I was the stupid one.
