Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day Oct 13th

There are many of us at the Metastatic Breast Cancer Network contacting our mayors and governors to offiicially proclaim Oct 13 th MBC Awareness Day. What we are looking for now is ideas on how to commemerate that day. Raising money is nice ,but not primary. We would really like a time for all BC surviviors and the general pop to recognize, accept and support those of us whose battle is ongoing. Please if you are taking part or organizing an event in Oct, take a moment to think of how you could include those of us who need it most. We are on the front lines and often forgotten. I am going into my forth year with stage 4 and doing very well. Unfortunately I don't feel so supported by my primary BC friends. It is very isolating. We are here and we want to be a part.  Please don't forget us.
