Thigh muscles ache-done with TC

Options

Hey, all!  I am 4 weeks out from my last tx of Taxotere and Cytoxan, and for the last two weeks, I have had constant thigh pain (both legs)...not unbearable, but it feels like I've been doing lunges.  It's annoying and it makes it difficult to climb stairs.  Anybody else have a problem like this?

Yes.  I had terrible aching from the taxotere, it  does go right into the bones. I can remember barely being able to go up and down the stairs.  My legs just didn't work properly.  The pain  was always worse day 4-8 after tx but the achiness did continue for weeks after tx was over.   It did get better over time.

Sharon, I'm 2 months out from my last TC.  My legs didn't ache, but they were very weak--like severe muscle fatigue.  It was worst for the first few weeks after that last tx, and it has decreased gradually since then.

Even now, my legs tire easily if I walk a long distance.  I was not in very good shape when I started chemo, though, and I didn't exercise throughout the tx's like some women do.  That might have had an effect in my case.

PrettyinPink and Otter - I'm assuming that it's from the Taxotere...it's just weird because it didn't start until 2 weeks after my LAST treatment, and I hadn't had it happen before.  It's just frustrating because I want to be back to "normal," you know what I mean?  I was in good shape when I started tx's, but unfortunately didn't keep it up throughout.  I need to get back at it.

    Otter-How've you been doing otherwise?
