My new furbaby

Well, Karma did it again.  I was't going to get a baby till dh agree to close the cat door.  BUT, my best friend, who has 4 cats, had a 4-6mos old show up at her house.  After her son and DIL ck'd each house with in 4 blocks, called all the vets and humane shelter, I was told about "her".

She was cuddly and loving and just right.  so I told dh he was closing the cat door and if he wanted to let HIS cat out that was fine, but mine was an indoor cat.

I brought "Molly" home to my bedroom and she was to stay there, with a few visits to the rest of the house while "Precious" was outside.  All was well till we discovered that Molly wasn't a girl!  Then we had "Tigger", but that only lasted till I said "Bailey"(as in Irish Cream)  mmmmmmm,

Precious is royally pissed to have another cat in the house and has even drawn blood from dh's hand.  She hisses and carries on loudly, but IS getting better.  They have only been allowed to "meet" with the patio door between them.  Bailey stays in the bedroom when she's in the house.

Wish me luck with making the kids get along!  Bailey is a black and grey stripped tabby with white socks, chest and belly.  He is a real LOVER and is already loved.  I'd show you a pic, but an fully 'puter challenged.  Besides, most tabbys look alike.  They are, apparently, the most common breed.

SO nice to have someone to cuddle with again.

Iodine, congrats on your new baby.  Tigger is one of m favorites.  My husband said when we first was dating that I reminded him of Tigger and he was more of an Eeyore.

Bailey's lucky to have found you and I suspect he knows it!  Congrats all around.  Enjoy the cuddles!  And good luck getting the whole family together... hopefully Precious will come around soon.

I'm jealous, but my 4 cats are thrilled I wasn't the one who brought the kitty home.

LOL, Amy, I certainly understand.  Precious has been #1 for over a year and I'm really proud of her for beginning to accept Bailey.

Oh Dotti....congratulations on your new addition! You may recall that I recently got a new kitten and was nervous about my Sasha's reaction since she's very territorial. She also fussed for a few days, but now they play together and sleep close by one another. I never imagined that it would work out so well. I thought that the best I could hope for, ultimately, was civility and tolerance. Ya just never know....

    I love the name!
