Worried? ILC metastatis to abdomen?
Hi.
I'm waiting for results of CAT on lower quadrant. Attack of diverticulitis ( we thought) 2 weeks on antibiotics and it's not going away... GP sent me for CAT today.
I'm scared that it's spread . I just lost a friend to BC that metatisized to pelvis. It was very uncomfortable and hard to control. Will I need surgery. I don't want to face this beast again but I am very uncomfortable.. Feeling of fullness, back pain like back labor..feels like I"m going to explode.
I've skipped the gyn for the past two years( mine retired and I don't like the new one)... I'm so sick of doctors and I'm still seeing onc every three months....tumor markers should go up, shouldn't they.
I'm sort of numb now and wonder why I'm not completely freaked out. I did this when I had my first positive biopsy. I was very calm.
I should here by Wed. test was today. I can't find anything about spread to abdomen and ILC is so weird with it's layering or whatever it is. Any info will be helpful. Thanks.

Diverticulosis and stress can cause stomach pain. I think the abdomen is higer up then diverticulosis would be...I believe that is in the colon. I went through the same thing and mine turned out to be mild diverticulosis.

Maire,
I'm praying for you, for good news!!
I also have a feeling of 'fullness', and my lower back hurts, but I think it is related to uterine fibroids that I have, and I am having an endometrial biopsy Wednesday. I am worried about that, but the gyn onc (seems I'm not seeing enough specialists!) doesn't seem to think it's anything to worry about. He thinks it's polyps (oh goody!).
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that it could be something else. My abdomen also feels ful and I get some pelvic pain, and I have some spotting, too, but only after sex or after exercising.Sending HUGS your way!!
