Bernie Mac RIP

Damn, I don't know what to say.  I just assumed that he would be okay.  My heart goes out to his family.

I heard this week he was doing well.  Obviously not true.  I know he had sarcoidosis and that is an awful disease.  Can't imagine his death was not related to his underlying disease but again the report is that it was not.  Sorry to hear of his passing.

I know -- I was so shocked and sad to see this.  Like Gracejon, I find it hard to imagine that it was unrelated to sarcoidosis.  Anyway, this is terribly sad.  Rocktobermom, did you read how he said his mother told everybody he would achieve great things? "Woman believed in me before I believed in myself."

This is so sad and shocking.  He was only 50.  When you're 55 you realize how young that is.  My son's middle name is Bernard, after my dad and our last name starts with Mac so his roomate at university calls him Bernie Mac!
