Re-explained my eye issues ect to my onc and he said "we need to figure out what is going on.  I want a brain MRI to rule out anything".  No "would you like one" or "we could do one".  NOPE - we WILL do one.  I was lucky enough to get in TODAY so the MRI is over.  Just loved the cage over my head otherwise it went fine.  Never had one with a mirror to see out before.

When they came in to give me the contrast the nurse says "you're suppose to stay for the results right?"  I hadn't heard that.  She said that was the note she had.  So I stayed for like 15-20 and then the tech comes out and says "I guess we'll send them to your dr and he'll call you with the results".  Ok so why did I wait?????????   So now I wait at home.

Yes Yes Yes I know I know I know - it's NOTHING!!!!!!! But damn I hate this stuff.  he did give me the name of neuralogist too so I'll call them after I hear the results.

Not my plan for the day but at least now it's done!

I'm sorry you're going through this torment. When do you think you'll hear from someone?

You know a lot of onc's will order scans and tests just to put everyone at ease. There's every possibility that will be the case with you too.

    Please keep us updated.

Oh Jill, doncha just hate this crap? Everytime we get a twitch or a twinge, it's gotta be viewed and prodded and looked at from every perspective because of course it's cancer, right?

Here's hoping that you just have wonky eyeballs and just need a good wack in the head.....

Jill, I remember you talking about spots, squiggles, and/or flashes.  I had those..heck they're still here the little squiggles, but not as dark.  The ophthalmologist did a very, VERY good exam and said it was vitreous detachment.  However, when I told my onc's PA she said, we'll have a brain MRI.  You haven't had your brain looked at lately have you?  No I had not.  Anyway, I didn't have mets.  But it was fun to learn that I had Small Vessel Disease which has nothing to do with my eyes..just my dementia!!!!!

I'm not going to tell you not to worry.  I'm going to tell you to TRY not to worry.  Yeah, right.

You'll be in my prayers.  I know you're getting tired of this crap!
