Anna~ Just a gorgeous place to live....And the baby is just perfect.
And the puppy speaks for it's self. I just love the fact that you can show us pictures.
Deb~ Your hair is so pretty! Did you get the lick out yet?
I need a good hair cut myself, it has grown almost to my bra strap , and I think I'm just to old for long hair. Michael says's leave it alone.
I asked him the other night if he hated it bald and also short. He said yes. So I'm still on the fence as to how short I will go.
Well, I need to get back to the dishes and cook some squash for dinner. Boy I will sure miss the fresh veggies when they are gone. But I won't miss the heat.
Love to you all....WHERE IS LAT56 ???????
-
Anna - Love all the pics....beautiful. Adorable tango dancer and little pup..too cute.
ML - We are driving up to Pinkstock and I'd love to meet up with you somewhere. I'll PM you our schedule and details.

Anna, the pictures are wonderful. He is a darling and has the sweetest face. I love the color of your little pooch. He looks like a very content little guy but if I had a bed like that, I would be too.Margerie, I'm going to check out your blog. Have not had a hot rocks massage, but I'm all for it.Off to the doctors, so have a good one.
Nancy -
Nancy~ Good luck at the doctors. Give us an update when you return....
-
Anna, you should make the dog your avatar.
Just like this. All you have to do is click this picture and save to your pictures.
-
ML - you are right. That doggie would make a great avatar for Anna.
-
Hey ladies,
Who has actually purchased airfare for our get-together, and what did you get it from (Hotwire, Priceline, etc?).
Only a second to write, Daniel has his appointment to get his cast off in a little bit, and I still have to finish up his daily journal for his therapist.
Love and prayers, Deb
PS-got a forward from our dear Kim's husband-they made a "Mom's Garden" in her memory and honor. I guess it was one of her last wishes. It is beautiful-I will get the attachment on here later. It made me miss our Kim all over again.
-
Mom's garden- what a beautiful idea!!!
I still think about Kim. I hope her family is doing well.
I hope you get to celebrate cast removal Deb-- woohooo Daniel!
-
I love the idea of a mom's garden, how very sweet of her husband to do that for the children to honer Kim. My avatar is a flower in my garden.
WTG! Daniel Hope all goes well.
Deb, I feel for you in the middle of a move to unknown territory.
My thoughts are with you Odalys as you travel to Pinkstock . It is raining today, but I think it will be dry and hot the rest of the week end. Give (((HUGS))) to all the sisters for us. And take many pictures for us to see....PLEASE. If you have your lap top, send some while you are there....if you can upload.
I'm going to look at airline tickets again today.......Marg~ can you send us all an email with the details again...times, airports .....So we can have them at hand. Also phone numbers to have in case. I would hate to be in another state and have Michael try to look up something for me. He hasn't a clue at times.
Not that he is stupid, but he is MALE
And at times he can be so out of the loop.
Nancy~ How did the Doctor go the other day? Hope all is well with you.
Anna~ Love to you , we now have rain! But the dog days are here in VA for sure.
Lat56~ Please check in and give us an update. We don't let sisters stay away to long here since we lost our dear Kim.
Well it is time for me to clean our porch, it is raining and I love to do the flowers when it is cool. They sure need some attention.

Hi sisters,
Here is the forward of Anthony's email. I hope it works. If not, I will personally copy and paste all the pictures!!!!
Daniel has GRADUATED from his cast! It was awesome, and the kid continues to use his left hand automatically. I'm so proud of my little guy. What a hard worker! He was able to do water therapy today, and he LOVES that, and missed it while wearing his cast for the past 3 weeks.
We got Slurpees to celebrate his special day, and I let him pick out a special toy for a treat. He chose......(ready for this one?!?!) and EASY BAKE OVEN. In reality, I was delighted, but I get some flack for not protesting if my son wants something pink and girlie. I figure that as long as he isn't 18 and wearing a Disney Princess shirt, he's fine.Anyhoo....he even wanted the Disney Princess version of an Easy Bake Oven, which doesn't really "cook" your treat, you put ice in a tray and let it get cold for 12 minutes. It's basically hard pudding. Bleech!
We should maybe start an email tree to determine specifics of when to fly in, etc. for our gathering! I'm so excited!Love and prayers, Deb
PS-Lat56, I'm worrying about you too, girl. Where are you!?!?!?
Hi everyone, As you may already know, one of Kim's requests before she past away was to make a "Mom's Garden" in her name which included a bench. Of course, I took it one step further and made it a garden with so much more. What makes it really special, is that everyone, including my kids, always refer to it as "Mom's Garden". They all know what the garden stands for and how special it is. Attached is a slide show, which includes the project from start to finish. It took several months, but it's finally done. I also want to thank again ALL the friends and family that helped me make this happen and the contributions you provided. I could have not done it without you! http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=0AbtmLZk1csmLow¬ag=1 If the above link does not work, please try this one below. http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=0AbtmLZk1csmLow¬ag=1 Love, Anthony & the kids

Thanks for posting Anthony's email Deb. What a beautiful garden! Kim is alive and blooming with life in that garden and I am sure it is a nice place for her family to sit and remember her. Beautiful photos too. How sweet of Anthony....
WIll pm you all with info....
-
Beautiful garden. I hope it brings solace to that young family. Our dear Kim....
Margerie, I hope you will keep me in the loop in the PM department.
-
I did Anna, check your pm's
-
What a wonderful legacy. Kim would have loved sitting in that garden and I'm sure all who sit there can feel her presence and her grace. I hope that her family's pain is more bearable each day.
Deb, congrats on the junior chef. With the exception of Julia, all the really great chefs have been men and a man who likes to cook is an instant chick magnet. At 8, my Steve can cook a mean scrambled egg and a cornflake crusted French Toast. Both my boys love to cook and their wives are thrilled. I agree with you; it would take a sublimely confident man to wear his Princess shirt.
OK, I am making reservations this weekend to fly to Sacramento. This is really, really going to happen. Can you believe it???? Margerie, thank you, thank you for making this possible for our 3d anniversary. I'll send Margerie the details.
My great nephew is coming for dinner tomorrow. He is now 8 days old, so I'm not sure how much he'll enjoy the gazpaucho, etc. Oh well, I can always feed my dinner to his parents and his grandmother (my dear sister). It will be such fun to hold a baby again, right Anna and Mary Lou?
Odalys, can't wait to hear about the road trip.
-
Good morning, all. I did it! My reservations are made and I can't wait to see all of you. Margerie, you should get an e-mail with itinerary from the airlines. I worked with your times. Got a good price from Southwest directly--half of anything offered through Expedia, Kayak, etc.
-
I will work on that myself tomorrow after Michael goes to work.
-
Hi guys!
I'm going to research fares today, too! Yay!
Gotta go to Sam's club and return a rotten watermelon. Yep, that's my exciting day......
-
Hi sisters. I am having a great time on vacation. We are at Maryland now after spending the weekend at Pinkstock. Meeting all the pinkstockers was such an awesome experience. My heart is filled with love. If you haven't done so, check out the the Pinkstock thread so you can see all the pics. Here is the link

I'll be back as soon as I get a chance to share some stories with you. Love you all.
-
Sisters, I am so sad tonight. I don't see me getting to the get together. It is just to far and plane fare is up . I was all set and then Michael got the news he is being laid off after 18 years.
We are not sure where he will go, but I have to watch every penny now. This makes me so sad
. I feel so bad for him. And I have had my hours cut off too. So here we go.....
All I can do is pray he finds something soon, or is called back.
I was counting the days till I got on the plane.
-
Oh Mary-Lou, I'm so sorry to hear about Michael being laid off! I pray things work out and he finds something soon.
Love, Anna
-
Oh no, MaryLou. So sorry to hear Michael was laid off and you won't be able to attend the reunion. I know you were looking forward to it. Dear God, this economy has got to get better. Hope he finds something soon. We are in South Carolina working our way back to Miami. I can feel the heat already but it doesn't matter cause I am still smiling from Pinkstock! Have a great day everyone.
Love and hugs,
-
ML-I PM'd you.
We're tired from a busy few days, but had a lot of fun! The house is SOOOOO close to going on the market, we just have to straighten up the basement and finish the paint job!
I got my hair cut! I think I finally have bounced back from chemo hair!!!! I'm almost "satisfied" with it again!
Gotta get Daniel ready for therapy! Love and prayers, Deb
-
Thanks gals, I may be needing some hugs in the next few weeks.
Odalys, so glad you got to get away from work and just breathe. Pinkstock had one great sister there from our little place on the boards to represent us. I know they all love you as we do. Please post all the pictures you can....PLEASE , they put a smile on our face. I love the rainbow one.
Deb, hair pic too! I wish you all the best with the house. We may have to relocate ourselves, you never know. My son Cory works for the same company, he was cut off too. I really am worried about him, he was not salary so when the check is gone, it's gone.
I have faith in our Lord, and I will pray that this all works it's self out.
Anna, I may have to move back up to Loudoun. Cory is thinking about going up to stay with his brother Chris to work for him till he can make other arrangements. And Jess may have to return to work too.
Here is a little smile for you all to add to your day.
-
Everyone has a PM....
Is there a way of being notified of PM's anymore? I missed some important ones. Didn't it blink before?
And I just read back, Odalys you did tell me....now I feel even worse.
-
It took me awhile to notice the pm's too.
I hope this door closed means a better one will open soon for your family Mary Lou. Hang in there!
-
Marg~ Yes, it may be a blessing in disguise. All things happen for a reason. I had a long talk with mom today. So don't count me out yet for our trip. I will see what I can do.
Deb~ HUGS Sister
-
Hey, I LOVE you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Tonight is Michael's last shift. He said everyone thinks the doors are going to close on the plant with him gone.
They have cut people you would never believe would be gone.
I just have to keep the faith.
We will be going to WV to the state fair to see Miranda Lambert this week end.
She sings Gun powder and Lead

Good thing it was a birthday gift from my oldest brother to my younger brother , me and Michael. My brother will hit 50 in Jan, So we are doing this early.
Here is what keeps me smiling
