Are there any quilters in MI?

I had an idea to do a 'hugs' quilt so that we could wrap ourselves in bits of love from our sisters.  It would work like a cookie exchange.  Those who would like to be involved would let me know via this site or a PM.  On Sat., Aug. 2, I'll count those quilters (right now I only have 5), and figure out how big the squares or how many squares each person will need to submit.  On Sunday, I will respond with the number.  Each person will send me the number of squares within 3 weeks and I will send out the squares to everyone.  Sandy in Cincinatti dubbed me the Stackmaster.  I would really like to do this but can't by myself.  One of the sisters can donate the fabric but didn't have a machine so I told her I would make up the quilt for her and send it.  I just did a runner really fast and thought to do the quilt the same way.  I wanted something to keep me busy after surgery.  I find I get up and moving around when I have a purpose.

Let me know if there is interest out there.  Days are ticking by fast.
